I stumbled on this gem after googling for a restaurant near me that wasn’t a chain or overpriced. I didn’t expect to choose a sports bar, but it’s the best decision I’ve made since I moved to Sarasota a year ago. I had a lb of the chicken thigh fingers with half of their Outback flavor (a must try if you like a little spice) and the other half in mango habenero. I also had an order of the curly fries. Total: $13 bucks. I would’ve paid twice that. The flavors just bursts into your mouth! The sauces tastes homemade and the texture was just right. The atmosphere was top tier with a friendly bartender who seems to be well liked by the regulars. I will definitely make this my guilty pleasure of the month. I love supporting a family establishment, especially one who is a “Friends”sitcoms lover!

Excellent quick food for my fam down the road at the doubletree. Done on time, nice and fresh. Wings were not over sauced, which just kills me. Good options for the kiddo and wife. Good sized wings and friendly people. My bar isn’t super high when I’m on vacay, but this place hits the mark. Great place to snag in house or Togo if you’re in the area!

Wings and Things is a cozy neighborhood sports bar located in Sarasota,FL. Walking in, you get a wonderful welcoming feeling as if you just belong! I imagine they have several regulars that probably frequent there. It has a Cheers vibe! We visited during lunch. They have awesome lunch specials! I ordered 8 Cajun Wings with broccoli and cheddar soup. Y’all please don’t sleep on their homemade soup! That broccoli and cheddar soup was ! It had me doing a finger lick at the bottom of the bowl! The wings were of good size. However, the flavor was somewhat bland. They would’ve been better if the chicken were seasoned prior to cooking and then tossed in the sauce. I believe they were probably fried plain and then tossed in the sauce. But don’t take that comment to mean their sauce is bland. The sauces are very good! I’m told the fries abd draft beer were great as well! If I lived in this area, this would be a place I would patron on a regular basis!

No greeting except to say we couldn’t sit where we chose wasn’t crowded except for obvious friends or family of the bartender who were slightly loud at times and had a small kid running around everywhere was not a comfortable atmosphere food was ok nothing special I don’t recommend there are better options

We were looking forward to some delicious wings and beer. We arrived at 9 and closing time is at 10. As soon as we walked in, we weren’t even greeted we were just abruptly told they are only doing to go orders. Meanwhile, another group of 4 were seated. . It’s very sad to see what this world is coming to. I really hope no one else gets treated this way.

Amazing atmosphere and friendly staff! The wings are amazing and there are quite a few options for beer on tap! Sports playing on many televisions so no need to worry about missing the game!
