The five-star rating has more to do with the excellent service that Hannah gave me than it does their food, which I’ve had some major issues with in the past…… I called here on my way home to see how late their kitchen was open and then stopped in for a beer and a carryout order. Hannah appeared to be answering the phone, serving their bar / dining room and was a really great hostess & bartender. It’s been years since I’ve been here (due to previous issues with their food) even tho this location is right down the street from my house. Hannah recommended a few things from the menu and was very attentive to me and the other customers. So, their spicy fried pickles (recommended by Hannah) were great but the chicken sandwich was just a piece of very very crispy chicken in a bun with no lettuce, tomato or anything else. Maybe I should have asked what comes on it but I was really underwhelmed by the sandwich and it’s flavour. The location is in a strip mall and is clean and nice enough. I’ll probably give them another chance regardless of my previous issues with their food just because they’re so close to home and their server was really on it.

I took my wife for dinner on a Thursday evening at 5 pm. There were plenty of tables available and the hostess seated us right away. Our server came right over and took our order. We both got traditional wings, she got ½ teriyaki and the other mild buffalo. I ordered the tweener. We also ordered some fried mushrooms.

I had a second unfortunate experience at Wings Etc. in Valpo. Today I ordered 10 boneless + 10 bone – in + onion rings. I ordered off the menu pointing at the “specials” which had both bone in and out listed as 89. cents today only. When I got my bill however 10 wings were over charged. When I pointed it out to the waitress/bartender she said that bone in was not part of the .89 cent deal. I pulled out the menu and showed her the .89 advertisement for both kinds of wings and said please explain.

Lyndsay was our server in the bar and was very attentive and friendly. I had the All American burger and with deep fried spicy pickles. He had the chicken, bacon, ranch wrap with loaded fries. Both were on the lunch specials, we just paid a little to upgrade our sides. Everything was very good, hot and fresh!

the wings are amazing! the mac n cheese is worth getting if you’re here. i got the hot honey garlic wings to go. the sauce is amazing! the heat was perfect for me. i think i chose 5 on the sliding scale. my order was packed neatly. i will definitely visit again when I’m in Valparaiso.

Great wing stop. Better, and more affordable, than bww. The wings were delicious, almost as good as making them at home. The buffalo sauces seemed to have a bit too much butter, but they were still good. Decent selection of craft beers. Grilled chicken wrap looked a little small but was very filling. Service was great, waitress was very friendly and helpful. 69¢ wings on Monday!

I ordered online about an hour before closing which is partly my fault but I had just gotten off work down the road and was starving. When I got home and finally opened my food up there was the tiniest amount of fries in my Buffalo wrap combo. I understand it’s late but I paid for the wrap and fries so I feel kinda ripped off. Other than that the girl on the phone was very nice and so was the girl at the bar who got me my food.

The food was great, and fairly quick. The server was very pleasant. The place was clean. It wasn’t very busy when I was there, but I was having an early dinner. The beer was nice and cold.
