Loved eating here for the first time. They have one of the best patty melts I’ve ever had in my life. Definitely tasted homemade and fresh. Fries and ranch were really good also. Really nice inside the cafe. Friendly servers. Would definitely come back again!

This place and the Mexican place nearby came highly recommended by one of the docents at the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum and tour. This place did not disappoint! Everyone goes for the burger, but I would say try the wingo salad! Add a side of the onion rings and fried pickles and you’ve got a smashing combo! And the lady who took my order was so cool and so helpful in helping me decide what to get. Ranch dressing also was delicious.

If I was staying in town, I would definitely come again and have some ice cream the next time.

We enjoyed our lunch after church as at this nice little cafe on the square in Mansfield. The fried pickles, onion rings, and Reuben were all delicious. My son ordered the fish and chips which he said were good, and my husband liked his philly cheese steak sandwich. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was excellent. We will definitely be coming back soon.

This is a great place to stop and get an ice cream on a Saturday afternoon, prior to three. I definitely want to try them for lunch sometime soon.

America at it’s BEST. DELICIOUS burger, better than Steak, seriously you gotta try. grilled chicken spinach salad w/ Amazing Housemade Vinaigrette, and extra thick shake on the covered porch. Mansfield’s Beautiful Bandstand across the way and Delightful Breezes to cool off this hot day in the Center of Mansfield MO.

They were busy but it took a very long time to get our food – the table of 6 behind us placed their order after us but were served before we were. We ordered Patty melts which had way too much bun and the tater tots were totally overcooked. The waitresses were nice and the drinks were large.

I’ve eaten here a few times. They were busy both times, but still service and food was top notch. Had a Ruben with fries the 1st time. Soft tasty bread, tender flavorful meat and great fries. Fried pickles and onion rings are both had breaded and fries to perfection. Philly cheese steak is tender steak on a soft warm hoagie. Lots of cheese and onions . I’ve not had the room to eat any ice cream . But I’ve watched many people come in to get a scoop or two of those fabulous flavors they have. This place tucked away in a small town square is the perfect place to eat or just visit the locals.

Didn’t have high hopes but was pleasantly surprised! The Philly cheesesteak was wonderful. Wife really liked her Buffalo chicken sandwich. Kiddo got a grilled chicken breast sliced up with their home made honey mustard sauce. Super good!

Looking at some of the other reviews I am sad I didn’t get A Philly Cheesesteak. Didn’t see it in the menu,
But that being said we both ordered cheeseburgers with onion rings on this Laura Ingalls Wilder Day.
We sat outside and enjoyed the festivities: sights and sounds. The wait staff was pleasant and efficient. There was a high chance of rain but so far we’ve been spared.
The burgers were good and the onion rings were genuine.

Love this little place! Food was delicious (definitely try the fried pickles!) and service was excellent. We were a large party with 4 kids and 2 babies and they handled our crew like pros…super friendly and efficient. And their Caramel Apple Crisp ice cream was a perfect finisher.

(Also, if you see him again, please tell the man who bought ice cream for our kids “Thank you!” again from us…he was so kind!!)
