Great food, huge portions, new menu items!!! Standard drink prices. The night time atmosphere is a lot of fun. Karaoke is a blast. Bar tenders Angela And JC are personable, fun and inviting! They both make great craft cocktails!!

I was staying in Depot Bay for just one night.
Had a great dinner at Gracie’s Sea Hag Restaurant and asked the bartender there if there was an after hours place that the locals frequent. She told me Wing Wa. Especially on the weekends when they have karaoke, apparently it’s the place to go…
So of course, I had to go check it out. This is definitely the place that the locals end up…
at least on the Saturday night that I was there. Sat down at the bar counter and I ordered a local craft beer and the sliced
pork appetizer. Both were delicious
I stayed and spoke a bit with Mae, the co-owner who was bartending, as well as some other staff members and regular patrons that gave accolades to the business, the family, and what this place meant to them as a function of the Depoe Bay Community. So after hanging out for an extra hour in this restaurant/bar/karaoke bar business, I realized that Wing Wa Taphouse was very much appreciated by both the staff & patrons of this place.
Bottom Line: 9.2 out of 10 for quality of food and fun atmosphere. Could use some improvements with beer selection perhaps and I thought the place could use an interior design change to make it more appealing & functional.

Took a weekend trip to Oregon from California. We were greeted so warmingly it was like we were instantly family. The food was amaizng, and the service was honestly the BEST ive had anywhere!!!!! We will be making a point to stop by Wing Wa when we are in Oregon

We visited on a Thursday evening and the customer service was top notch. We had the egg flower soup (some of the best we’ve ever had,) also the spring rolls, vegetable fried rice, and vegetable chow mein with pan fried noodles. If you like spice you’ll definitely want to try their housemade garlic chili oil, it’s packed with flavor! Portions are big, like family size, so you won’t leave hungry. They kept our drinks topped off throughout our meal, were courteous, and overall take really good care of their customers. Next time we are visiting Depoe Bay we will be sure to stop in again. Thank you for a tasty dinner!

Make the drive to anywhere else BUT the wing wa. The staff will allow their locals to harass you and assault you. It smells horrible like rotten food and should definitely have health services out. All around a terrible experience. Stay far away unless you want to be harassed by a drunk woman for the way you look and then be the ones kicked out for her actions. -0/-0

These people that come on here and complain about the food are crazy. Everything is made fresh it was amazing. The drinks were well poured. Our server CJ did a great job. Even 86’d a local that was causing a problem…lol

The Wing Wa has become a favorite dive bar at the Depoe Bay coast. Unfortunately the downstairs closed and everything which felt more dive bar-ish went away. Still it’s a casual place to have a few bites or a wide variety of drinks. Overall this seems to be a local hangout, good prices which keeps us coming back and awesome karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights.

Decided to make the drive from Lincoln City to Depot Bay because I heard so many great things about Wing Wa.
This small API family owned business crushed it and I recommend checking it out if your in the area.

Tonight we dined at the Wing Wa Taphouse. I hadn’t been there in years. I used to frequent this place years ago, almost nightly. I was so happy to be back, The food was fantastic. We had the fried shrimp (which was excellent).The fried rice, and BBQ pork, were all cooked to perfection. We stayed for Karaoke, it was a lot of locals, and so much fun. I saw old friends, and made quite a few new ones. The server Angela was delightful and attentive. I truly enjoyed being back there with a beautiful ocean view, great food and service. I was able to see Joe, the owner, who was the chef. Thank you May and Joe for keeping the Wig Wa top notch. I look forward to returning very soon! I’d rate this experience above 5 stars if I could!.
