What a great surprise! Wing-N-It may look simple from the outside, but once you step in, it’s full of warmth and personality. When we arrived it was quiet, but the lady running the place was so kind and welcoming that we immediately felt at home.
The food was delicious — real Southern comfort food with a Louisiana twist. We all had chicken dishes (the strips are amazing, with flavors ranging from Honey Sticky to Mango Habanero). She even brought us a little cup of their homemade ghost pepper sauce — seriously hot, but so good!
They don’t serve alcohol, but the waitress told us we could just grab some drinks from the store down the street and bring them in. We loved that! We bought a box of beer and had such a fun, relaxed evening with the five of us.
Great food, super friendly service, and a cozy, local vibe — Wing-N-It is a small place with a big heart. Totally worth a stop if you’re anywhere near Twentynine Palms.

Our server and the chef were charismatic and candid conversationalists who knew their menus, ingredients, specials, and every pertinent facet of their establishment, which serves the ultimate Louisiana cuisine in Southern California. We praise the superbly seasoned and succulent catfish, chicken wings ( so many different delicious flavors), the greens, rice and beans , and French fries . If you have a sweet tooth, order the Kool- Aid ( be sure to take advantage of the two complimentary refills)

AMAZING FOOD! I got 8 wings and two sides (4) buffalo ranch, and (4) lemon pepper wings with hush puppies and fried pickles. The wings are generously sized with insane flavors and a nice crisp to them. The fried pickles were everything you’d want them to be and the hush puppies had amazing flavor and thankfully not dry at all. I’d recommend eating here every chance you get if you want some good wings. (The portions are much more then the photo I got carried away eating)

Found a place that makes you feel at home and makes food better than the comfort food you were used to back home? Take the opportunity to try the Jamaican jerk chicken wings (best I’ve ever had), along with a side of mac and cheese and rice and beans with a serving of delicious banana pudding. Shay is very warm and friendly and full of interesting stories.Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this spot. You can tell the owner is from the south based off of the saucy/ juicy wings, and how tasty the collared greens were. I also loved the rice and beans mix. They had such a great deal on 16 wings with two sides for $22. I got the garlic Parmesan which was my favorite and then a spin on a buffalo sauce.

If you’re craving chicken or chicken wings, this is the place to be. The chicken is packed with flavor and hits the spot. The sides, however, weren’t my favorite. The live band during the evening adds a nice touch to the atmosphere.
The staff and crowd are all fantastic, making for a great overall experience. One suggestion would be to change the tablecloths for a fresher look.

I will say it now, this place absolutely ruined buffalo wild wings for me. Their cooking is absolutely amazing, flavorful and savory… The staff is awesome and always making sure you’re good to go. And the prices are unheard of In a fantastic way! Highly recommend for everyone to try their food, especially their wings! Will come here again.

The fried fish was terrific. The mac and cheese awful; no flavor, no golden color, not enough cheese sauce. We won’t go back. Too bad. The staff seemed to be hard workers trying hard to please the customers. Improve the mac and cheese and we’ll come back. We love supporting mom and pop businesses, but the overall food has to be better.
