Hands down best Chinese in the area. Reminds me of my childhood favorite where they used to put green peppers, tomato, and pineapple in the sweet and sour sauce. That is rare. The egg rolls are my favorite too. Great all around Chinese. Old school. IYKYK

The egg roll was good but the fact the cabbage was pink purple kinda threw me off lol because I’m weird.
The hot and sour soup was very different from others I’ve had. This one had a lot going on, pretty good. The beef lo mein was yummy and so was the orange chicken. I want to come back and try the kung pao & sweet & sour chicken. I’d come back considering the other chinese food places are not so good in Elgin.

Ordered chicken moo shu and these people showed up with chicken soup and then asked if i payed more when i called back. No. i didn’t get what i ordered. Didn’t even try to make it right. Never again. Yeah I’m ordering out at a Chinese place at the end of summer for chicken soup. Brains must be soup. Take pride in your customer service and listen or at least try to fix your mistakes.

My husband suggested this place for dinner and said it was the best Chinese for around, highly disappointed. We ordered crab Rangoon which was probably the best part of our meal, we also got shrimp fried rice which was also good, however our main dishes were not good at all. We ordered beef and broccoli and orange chicken. The beef didn’t looked cooked and had no flavor, the chicken was not how Orange chicken usually is, it was not crispy and the sauce was a bit watery and just not good overall. Do not recommend unless you only want fried rice and crab Rangoon.

I just ate at this Chinese restaurant and I have to say it was a big disappointment. The food had absolutely no flavor — completely bland and tasteless. This is not authentic Chinese food by any means. If you’re looking for real Chinese cuisine, this is definitely not the place. I do not recommend it at all.

Best fried rice and egg rolls i’ve ever had.
Ordered a small combination fried rice and the chicken and beef were the most tender pieces i’ve ever had in fried rice. It wasn’t too oily either. Egg rolls were huge and super fresh. You could eat it without any sauce lol.
Other reviews are spot on about price and freshness of meals. That’s how I ended up choosing to try this 1. So I highly recommend trying this spot if you’re in the area. Im going back today for more. Will give another review with pictures.

No flavor. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE.
There’s no taste, the chicken seems like it was just boiled in water, the meat tastes raw, they clearly don’t know what salt or seasoning is.
