My wife and I drove an hour+ to eat here after driving by and seeing the restaurant one day. We did some research and decided we wanted to try it out. We got the barbecue pizza to eat there, and several of the sandwiches to go.
The pulled pork on the pizza is really good, so good we put in an order for a barbecue sandwich to go. This brings me to the sandwiches. I will admit that a pizza place known for sandwiches seems odd, especially when we liked the pizza so much, but it’s true. Go for the sandwiches. Even after reheating them the next day, they are delicious!!
The staff is super friendly. The young lady at the front register was super nice and super helpful, and extremely patient with two out of town people with a bunch of questions.
The dining area is also really unique. When you first walk in, you’ll see a bunch of writing on the walls of the restaurant. This is encouraged by the resturant, and it’s interesting to see all the messages people have written over time. We wrote several messages ourselves, and left a marker on our table for the next diners.
We really enjoyed our time at The Pizza Bar, and recommend to anyone wanting to try something that tastes good with a friendly staff, and a very fun atmosphere.

So, I ordered a BBQ pizza with extra BBQ and extra cheese. What I got was a BBQ pizza with very little BBQ on it at all, extra cheese, and extra sauce. I was in too big a hurry to ask for a change or money back, so I can’t speak on how they would have tried to correct it. Also, the pizza was thin crust, and I was given no other option. I don’t like thin crust. It was cut weird not in the traditional way at all and hard to deal with. It was expensive for what it was. Ended up being over 30 dollars. The taste was very sweet in the sauce, and everything else was kinda bland except the BBQ. The BBQ had a good taste, but there was so very little of it I tasted it in maybe 4 bites. I’m not impressed at all. For the price, I would say go somewhere anywhere else for the pizza. The atmosphere was graffiti all over the walls and random signatures. Nothing looked impressive. Looked like somewhere for local kids to eat overpriced mediocre pizza. If they added an arcade, they would do much better. They have the room for it, that’s for sure. They have way more space than they need. Unless they make drastic changes, I won’t be back.

Pizza Bar is very good. At times, when we get to-go orders, they are not made as we requested or entered as requested during the call in. Other than having to check your food to make sure it has been prepared per your request, this is a good place to eat.

The ham and cheese was recommended by the front desk staff at the Hampton Hotel. That was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten!! Definitely worth the wait.

The pizza crust is not a fresh made, it’s frozen and not very thick. I got the large with all toppings which there wasn’t much meat but it was ok. Not for me though.. Sandwich is great (ham and cheese)!

Band was playing. It was ok but the music was way too loud. Food was never brought out to us. I finally went and asked about it after 40 minutes. They said oh it has been ready. Then they gave me cold fries. Never offered to remake the fries or the sandwich. Sandwich was still good but fries were soggy.

We got the pizza. The crust reminded me of hand tossed. I’m more crispy or pan. Great taste but crust was a little chewy. I’ll be back. I’d like to try the hoagie.
