Matt the manager is really friendly and you can tell he really knows about wine! It was my first time at WineStyles, he gave me the tour and helped me find the wine I was looking for! The cashier was also super cool and I’ll be back for sure. Highly recommended!

This was a nice find. Our team from work came for a wine tasting. This session covered 6 basic types of wine. Three whites and three reds. We were a lot of newbies and learned a lot. They have many good and reasonably priced selections to choose from. They also have tables and light food service. Nice atmosphere. This would be a fun place for an out of the ordinary date night or a casual lunch.

They have a decent selection of wines and beers, but it’s hard to find a particular varietal. They are organized as flavor profiles. It’s great for people who are just exploring wine. Harder for wine aficionados to find what you want.

One of my main stops when I go to West Glen, which is often since I live close by. Can’t ask for better service. Brian, Andrea, Nick, Ashleigh, Matt, Jordyn (just to name a few) are fantastic and go above and beyond to answer questions or assist with anything else needed. Definitely a must stop for Wine AND Beer enthusiasts as they have a fantastic craft beer section as well. Also, while you’re there, try all the food and shop a little. They have it all!

Fantastic selection of craft beer bottles that you won’t find most other places in the Des Moines metro. They also also have a few beers on tap that you can enjoy there, along with a nice cheese plate or a mini pizzette.
Their staff is very knowledgeable and the customer service is top notch. Bryan and his wife run one of my favorite specialty wine/craft beer stores in town. Stop in and prepare to be impressed!
