“5/5 stars – What a fantastic spot! Wine & Wood in South Tampa (Hyde Park area) nailed it with their awesome wood-fired pizzas and seriously delicious wines. The pizzas come out hot from the oven with that perfect charred crust and flavorful toppings – so good! And huge bonus: they offer a gluten-free cauliflower crust option that actually tastes amazing (not just ‘good for gluten-free’). I swapped it in without missing a beat, and it was crispy, yummy, and loaded just like the regular ones.
The wine selection is spot-on – we tried a few glasses/flights, and everything we had was smooth, tasty, and paired beautifully with the food. The vibe is cozy and chill with indoor/outdoor seating, reclaimed brick walls, and a welcoming feel. Perfect for a casual date night or hanging out with friends. If you’re in Tampa and love great pizza + quality wine (with solid GF options), this place is a must-try. Yum all around – we’ll definitely be back! “

A charming, artsy wine bar with over 100 bottles and delicious wood-fired pizzas. The wine flights are perfect for sampling, and the small plates and salads are great to share. The decor is nice, fun, modern and rustic. I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday with my girlfriends here, the staff accommodated my gluten allergy 100%, making the night even better than I expected. It’s the perfect spot for celebrations, date nights, or just relaxing with friends while enjoying great wine and food.

I would recommend Wine & Wood overall. The pizza was excellent, crisp, flavorful, and well-prepared. The wine flight was also a highlight, offering a great variety and quality for the price. The place was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of parking available, which is always a plus.
Service-wise, it wasn’t great, but it was good, friendly enough, though there’s room for improvement in attentiveness and timing. Still, the overall experience was enjoyable, and I’d definitely return.

My husband and I came here on a Sunday at 4pm. The vibe was great, staff was so welcoming and gave great suggestions. We had the red sangria which was delicious. To be honest, we didn’t have anything we didn’t like here. We ordered the ravioli, marinara dip and the fig and prosciutto pizza. Highly recommend all of these, especially the pizza! Amazing! I’ll def be back for this. Also loved the music. Great for a date night or a girls night.

An excellent place to have a good pizza. They have a really good selection of wines from different countries that can pair with the pizza. We had the fig and prosciutto pizza and it was amazing. Service was good, we asked for some toppings on the side and they had it all. The pizza came really fast and we had a really good experience overall.

Offers a decent amount of wines to select from. Always get the flight to decide what bottle you want. We come to this place to relax and have a calm space to drink. Wine bar in an area which mostly caters to bar hopping is great option to have when you want energetic yet calm vibes. The bar tenders were helpful and their recommendations were very spot on. This helped since we know not too much about wine.

Sooo, Wine & Wood was just the spot I was looking for to enjoy some wine and pizza. The atmosphere was lively with beautiful decor, and I loved sitting outside on the lovely patio. Although the wine selection was somewhat limited, the options were still good, and the food was fantastic. Whether you’re flying solo, out with friends, or on a date, this is a great spot to unwind. I’ll definitely be back to try more!”

Best gourmet pizza in Tampa and AMAZING wine selection! Sixteen different kinds of pizza are available as well as cheese boards, salads, and various small plates. The pizzas and the small plates are cooked in wood fired ovens that you can see from the dining area, subtly flavoring the food. My favorites are the green apple and gorgonzola pizza and the wood-roasted buffalo cauliflower. Dozens of wines are available, with twelve on tap. A wine flight is a great way to taste a selection of the on tap wines. They also have high noons and six beers on tap if you don’t like wine. Service is always amazing. The decor is funky, with colored mason jar water glasses matching colored mason jar lights, and various eclectic oddities like a metal dog, a ceramic bust, gnomes, a goose, a disco ball boot, and artistic band posters. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, with two TVs inside perfect for watching a game.
