We were strolling thru downtown Lake Orion and came across Wine Social and decided to go in. We found 2 seats together at the bar. We were quickly greeted and served. Everyone, staff and customers were very friendly.
My wife spotted a bottle of Rumchata Peppermint Bark and became intrigued with it. Of course, she found a recipe for it and asked the bartender Maria if she could mix it for her. Maria went straight to work and mixed the drink. I think it’s now my wife’s favorite.
While we were at Wine Social they had a DJ, a fireplace lit on the patio, and lots of customers.

Definitely not a “wine bar”. We went on a Saturday around 8 p.m. They had loud music and strob lights. It wasn’t the relaxing atmosphere that I would expect from a wine bar. Gingerbread martini was sweet, but good as a Dessert after dinner. Service was good at the bar. We didn’t eat as it was too loud to talk and it was date night for us. I doubt that I would return, this is just a loud bar that serves wine. Maybe it would be better in the Summer when you can go outside and get away from the noise. It was too cold to go outside on the patio.

A great open air venue to relax, enjoy a glass of wine, and socialize with friends. A chill elevated atmosphere with indoor seating as well as patio seating that is comfortable, and right on the creek/river. I recently planned a surprise birthday for a friend and was so impressed! The events coordinator was phenomenal in helping us to arrange catering and find a cake designer. The Friday night DJ was great! The party was a success and we will definitely keep Wine Social in mind for future events! Thank you to the coordinator and the staff for being absolutely phenomenal from start to finish!

Wine Social helped host two big events and made them both very special — our wedding shower and wedding day.
We had our wedding shower at the Wine Social and we opted for the Mimosa Bar which was a crowd favorite! We had the whole space to ourselves and we were allowed to decorate it prior to it opening to the public. It was a perfect layout with my husband and I opening presents by the fireplace. The bartender was so sweet and even teared up at one of the speeches!
For the backyard wedding, Wine Social supplied the wine, bartending services and overall service experience day of. We also did a wine/food tasting prior to the wedding with both the Wine Social team and our chef at VanWagoner Catering. The two worked so well together and acted as one team which made all of the logistics go very smoothly. We received several compliments from our guests on the wine choices!
I also want to personally thank Lisa Sell-Hocson for her outstanding customer service, communication, and overall humble personality who made both events so perfect. And to Doug and Heather Jones for introducing us ❤️

I have been to the Wine Social multiple times but the last time I went I had an experience I wanted to share…
I came in with a friend for a drink and we sat at the bar. A few minutes later a man a few seats down inserted himself in our conversation. After normal conversation he started to make comments that made us uncomfortable.
There were 3 bar tenders working and every one of them came to check on us. They were doing more than asking if we wanted another drink—they could tell we were uncomfortable and were making sure we weren’t in an unsafe situation. At one point the male bartender came and started mixing drinks next to us until we got our bill and could leave.
The service and menu at Wine Social had always been outstanding. But I will never forgot this experience as a women and I would like to thank the staff for creating such a safe and positive environment for everyone.

I have been to Wine Social on several occasions and the consistency of the staff and atmosphere is unmatched. This place is like my own personal Cheers. They get to know you and always make you feel welcomed. They have a plethora of DJ’s and they keep the good vibes going all night long. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I 1000% recommend you come check out the great folks at Wine Social!

I just finished having an amazing 40th birthday party at Wine Social for my husband – we did decorations and planned out the entire event – for about 70+ People!
The music was unbelievable – Gracie was amazing with everything – there was a snaffu with catering but we got it handled a week prior and no issues arose.
Thank you to the Wine Social Staff and Lexi – our AMAZING Waitress for the night who was so patient and accommodating the entire night to what I have said are some difficult family members and friends 😉
