My spouse and I went here for lunch recently and he ordered the waguu burger and I ordered the chicken fried steak and we had the brownie sugar for dessert because they were sold out of the carrot cake which was a bummer. Everything was really good except for the garlic bread that came with my meal. The white sangria was pretty good with fresh fruit in it, but a glass of Moscato probably would’ve tasted better if they had it.

Been going to Wine Ranch for years but that ends as of today’s visit. Went for a Sunday brunch. Granted it was raining, but the place was nearly empty at noon on a weekend. A lot really felt off about this visit. The menu seemed different. There are no prices on the breakfast menu. The food took a long time to arrive. When it did my eggs were cold and the toast, which wasn’t toasted, tasted like chemicals. To verify I had everyone at my table smell it and they all nearly gagged. One said it smelled like Ajax. When I told the waitress she had no other types of toast to choose from except the bread they use for French toast and just left the chemical laced bread sitting at the table. Then we ended up with a $158.00 bill feeling like we would have been better off at Denny’s.

Love this place! Had wine flights and brunch for Mother’s Day before but today I had my dog and it’s so dog friendly! The staff is amazing especially Devin! We talked dogs for a while because he had a minute. They have a dog menu and she met some amazing people! Highly recommend!

Wonderful lunch here yesterday! The moment we walked in we were greeted by the friendly restaurant staff. Restaurant was very clean, inviting & our server was excellent and very knowledgeable. Food was amazing, had great flavor & presentation. Favorite spot in old town Murrieta.

We stood at the front desk near a person working on a tablet and waited over 10 minutes when we asked this person to get someone to help us. Turned out she was the person but she was busy doing something to clear the tablet. I just wished she at least told us she sees us and will be with us soon. There were others behind us wanting to be seated too!
So we got a table and some menus. We then waited for over 15 minutes until we flagged someone to get our wait person. So far, no service! Not a good sign.
We finally put out orders and actually got some water.
30 minutes have gone by and no food. So far we have spent about an hour here with very little to show for it.
We got our waitress’s attention and asked how long til we got our food. It came about 5 minutes.
I got the fish and chips and hubby got the turkey croissant sandwich. You can see the dishes in the pictures that the fish and chips looked a little on the dark side. I figured that should be okay unfortunately it was not. The outside tasted a little bitter, as in burnt, and the inside batter close to the fish was raw!!! I’m thinking the oil was too hot and the batter too thick.
The only good news with this whole visit were two things, they took the fish and chips off the bill and the Cali Creamin’ beer was very good.
If you want to try this place, hubby said the turkey croissant sandwich was good. I don’t recommend the fish and chips.
Last thing, they have their parking lot so at least you can put your car some place.

We have been here a couple times. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Fires outside to try to keep you warm. It’s a barn looking place. Nice and clean. A wine theme in decor. Didn’t realize they were part of a wine maker until we saw two separate prices for food on the menu. One for wine club members and the other for non members. I had the shrimp and grits. The shrimp are very large and great flavored. The grits are plain with lots of butter. Too much butter for my taste and I would rather lean towards the spices on the shrimp. Wife had the jalapeños Mac and cheese and she liked it. Overall nice place, staff was great. Prices seemed a little on the high side but we will be back

The burgers are amazing and not over greased like other places. They have a great wine menu and a variety of local and foreign beers. Restrooms are clean and very presentable. The staff is very kind and polite and is attentive to your needs.
The ambiance is just right for any occasion in the day; from a slow or energetic lunch to a nice romantic or intimate dinner.

The menu online looked delicious and high end, especially with the prices. The food did not live up to that at all. The decor is nicely done but is more rustic and casual. More of a setting for lunch or to go watch a game and grab a burger. The bacon wrapped dates were delicious. The brussel sprouts were greasy from the bacon in them. The salmon was good, but the risotto was strange with the pineapple in it and not well made. They put pineapple in the sangria too, and I think it is canned pineapple. The linguine lacked flavor and needed salt and pepper. We were so excited to try this place and were disappointed. I would go back and try lunch but not the dinner menu again.
