great drinks, great food, above and beyond service- came here with some friends and once i got home (after close) i realized i lost a ring which was incredibly sentimental to me. i called and despite being closed the wonderful person working answered & did a look around, didn’t find it, however he called me back a few minutes later saying he found it after digging through the trash looking for it, and let me come back to grab it despite being closed. this means more to me than he’ll ever know and the drinks were so good too. even aside from this the service was amazing 20 million/10 recommend paying this place a visit! thank you so much again to the person who found it if you’re reading this just know you’re an angel

Loved our experience here!! Everyone working was nice and hustling! The vibe was super fun and a great small variety of drinks and food!

I was excited to go here and listen to live jazz music. The interior is unique. The first stretch is small and packed with quaint tables and you wouldn’t even know it wrapped around to contain a larger floor plan. The food selection is meager and overpriced. The wait was very long to order and get what you can see below as a weak plate of food. The supposed cheese played is 10 dollars and as you can see is not a cheese plate. It’s a plastic container of flavored cream cheese and MOLDY GRAPES. I politely notified the server and she said oh ok, was not interested in resolving the issue. I normally let things go but its moldy food. The servers clearly had favorites in the bar and spent time attending to them and ignored us. The wine was average priced and there is a decent selection. Dont bother with the food or expectations for good service. I would reccomend driving to chankaska winery in Kasota, from food to drinks and events they are worth the drive over. Will not be going back here.

The Wine Cafe is reasonably priced, and the food is good, although the menu is limited. It gets crowded when there’s a good band playing, so come early if it’s your favorite group. The atmosphere is quirky, and the layout can be frustrating if you don’t get there early enough. But it’s a decent enough place to try out.

I wanna give this place 5 stars. It serves an important role in the Kato community and the ambiance is 10/10. But the bar is frequently understaffed (painfully so on some nights) and the limited food options take forever to get to you.

The Wine Cafe has been a favorite meeting place for me and my friends for years now. This unique, delightfully quirky local wine bar has an impressive array of wines to choose from–most of which are very affordable, so they suit any budget. Some light fare is on the menu to compliment your wine choice (we always get the cheese curds, but you do you), and beer and mixed drinks are also available for those who aren’t fond of wine. The ambiance is informal and relaxing. They have wonderful servers, who are knowledgeable about the wine list, and can recommend a wine with ease. Just recently, they have expanded their patio to be several times its original size, creating a huge, open-air space, which has a great sidewalk cafe feel. There’s room for live music out there, so I’m looking forward to more time on the patio at the Wine Cafe. But year-round, this is a go-to for gatherings!
