This was a cute little place, we’re visiting from Arizona for the summer. The waiter was super kind and did his job well. The guy that brought our food out was also happy with a smile (his hair was in a ponytail with big earrings). Most the food was really good minus the meatloaf which tasted very “herby”, best way I can describe it hahah! Overall very nice experience and food came out fast! Very friendly staff.

I really love the sandwiches here, but I’ve had enough of the service. This is the second time I’ve experienced a clear bias. The waiter was polite at first, but once the food arrived, we became invisible. He attended to every other table, took orders, and gave out checks to everyone else while completely ignoring us, even after I called him over twice.
It’s disappointing because this seems to be a pattern. We stopped coming before because the previous manager was condescending toward Latinos, and it feels like nothing has changed. It seems that if the place is full of American customers, Latino customers simply don’t matter. I won’t be coming back until they learn how to treat everyone with the same respect.

We had a reservation, and despite the restaurant not being very busy, the only two table options offered were either right next to the kitchen or by the front door where cold air was constantly coming in. That was disappointing, especially with a reservation.

The food itself was very bland, and the mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. For the price point, the quality should have been much better.

To make matters worse, the server stood over us while we were paying, clearly watching to make sure he received a good tip. That felt uncomfortable and unprofessional—especially since the service overall wasn’t great.

I would have rather eaten at Wendy’s than here.

This restaurants, a diamond in the rough even though it’s not located in the roof. The service was great. The reception was wonderful. Very clean restaurant. We went right for the main course. Chicken with fresh bread from the bakery and homemade turkey sausage gravy. Pastrami Reuben with thick pastrami. But the best part of the meal was the desserts from the bakery. Homemade apple pie and bread pudding made from a croissant! Prices are very reasonable and service was fantastic.

I tried this place a few days ago because a friend remembered it was good. Well that memory was several years ago, and the food was horrible, so was the service too. I ordered a $30.00 three course dinner that was way overpriced and the meal was awful. Greasy Salmon that was so fishy it stunk. The potatoes with it were like supermarket potato logs from 4 days ago, reheated?? Terrible onion rings.
The carrot cake was several days old also. I would not eat at this place for free, nor if they paid me too. Highly not recommend this place. Maverick roller grill would be better. The parking lot was empty…that was our first mistake!

I’ll start by saying that the service was good. We didn’t wait at all for a table (the restaurant was mostly empty). Our waiter (sorry, I don’t remember his name) was prompt to fix an issue with our wobbly table. He was very attentive throughout our time there. He made sure that we didn’t have any more requests and our cups were always full.
As for the food… mediocre at best. I don’t usually like to complain, but I do have a few notes. I asked for a well-done burger for my partner, which came out cooked as medium at best. If I’m going to pay nearly $20 for a burger, the least I would expect is for it to be cooked how I would like it. Not to mention the lack of flavor. I got the Cuban sandwich. Honestly, something about the mixture of what was in it was not that appetizing. Both the ranch and the sweet potato fries were pretty good.

Had lunch today at the windy ridge Cafe. Beautiful outside location with great service. The Reuben sandwich was amazing, as was the adult burger… We left nothing in the plate. The salads were well portioned, fresh with tasty dressings. The kids burger was dry, very dry. I made the mistake of not asking for it medium and got over well done… My son loved the fries, but left half the burger as it was overcooked. Lesson learned for next time. We finished the meal of with key lime pie which was well presented and delicious.

We will return to try other menu items as everything looked delicious.

One name – Kelley. She’s the manager and she treated us so well it’s hard to put into words. My family has lived in Park City for decades and has eaten here for many years. Friends, family, in-laws, co-workers, you can feel comfortable bringing anyone here. The food is always fantastic and we’ve never had a bad experience. Kinda high end, just casual enough to be a chill, relax spot.

The story is, over the summer, I found out that I would be speaking at a wedding where the bride had met the groom by seeing him for the first time at Windy Ridge while she was there with some co-workers and he was there with his family. The bride finished her meal first and went back to work – had all her coworkers download Tinder to see if she could find him there since she figured he was visiting town. Unsuccessful. She went back to the restaurant, he’s still there. She sent him a slice of cake with her number attached and the rest is history… because it turned out he knew her, had actually gone to school with her years earlier, and responded via text a few days later leading with her first name. Swoon. This was years ago. Like four or five years. Fast forward to this previous summer, a day before I leave town for their destination wedding in Europe, I reach out to Windy Ridge and see if I can bring a slice of that cake as a surprise for the couple. Regrettably, the bakery said they no longer make the cake – been off the menu for a couple years. BUT THEN. Kelley calls me up after hearing second-hand about the story, tearing up, and decides they can figure something out. They gave me, in truly record time, two cakes in little to-go boxes. Writing in icing – “From Windy Ridge, With Love.” AND BECAUSE THAT WASN’T ENOUGH, Kelley also FOUND the menu from when the bride and groom had originally met, framed it, wrote a couple beautiful little notes in it, and sent that along with me in case the cakes didn’t survive the journey. Spoiler: the cakes DID survive, although the berries placed on top of them did not, as I kept the cake in my backpack for six days before I ended up giving the speech where I revealed the cake… It was really the thought that counted though, and the menu was actually by far the bigger hit, so.

Just want to say, huge thanks to Kelley. She really went above and beyond in this scenario. It was a genuine highlight of the wedding. And on top of that, she does a great job managing the very excellent Windy Ridge.

I had lunch here earlier today and I had the burger cooked to a medium well and with fries on the side. I had the burger and it was alright, nothing special and the fries were kind of soggy. After I left I started feeling not so good and then now 4 hours later I feel absolutely horrible. The food must have given me some food poisoning because I am not essentially bed ridden spending half of my time in the bathroom…

Simply put, great service, awesome food, will return. Go here.

Literally one of the best meals I’ve eaten. The fried chicken was so flaky and moist and full of flavor, and the presentation, as you can see, was beautiful. We will be returning here every time we come to Park City. For the quality of food and service, the pricing is great, especially compared to many of the other establishments. I didn’t get a picture, but I also ordered a side of white cheddar grits that would make my momma jealous.
