Tasty food & good value for money.
Attending a conference at McCormick place and staying nearby. Got take-away for supper: the Chicago Sampler.
* Ribs – falling off the bones.
*!Brisket, tender and well cooked
* A hot link in a bun
* 2 sides: Elote spicy corn & green beans
The sauce was good and they gave an extra small container of sauce.
Service was efficient and food prepared quickly.
The sampler (with tax ~ $32) was filling enough for 2 medium sized adults who wanted a bit of dessert after. If you’re really hungry, adding some extra sides, or paying $4 more for extra brisket might be advisable.

I was assigned to do a doordash photo shoot here, I usually don’t review work shoots, but Terri the owner was an amazing host, as was the bartender and the rest of the staff. it was such a fun night, their slushies are perfectly sweet. I tried a lot of the dishes, but out of the 10 I tired I recommend the ribs and the BBQ wings stuck out, the chef came out and finsihed the ngith with lamb chops that wer eto die for I reccomend those as well! i dropped a few photos below that i took on the shoot.

The service was par for the course, could have been better. We tried ordering multiple items that were out of stock and it just set the course for a less than stellar experience.
The food took a long time, and while the manager came out to apologize (on their own accord) our appetizer was cold when it finally did arrive.
The entrees were fine, nothing to write home about but tasted okay. All of the food was not very hot, which begged the question of why our food took so long.
And lastly, there was a minor dispute over menu pricing once the bill arrived, but was honored once challenged. Overall a lackluster experience.

New to the area stop by for a conference the place was amazing the staff was very polite very very jovial the food was out of this world the barbecue was tender moist brisket wings and fries as what I had I would totally recommend this for first timer hour long timer people from everywhere should try this I am personally from Michigan. the BBQ is fine here nothing special, but the service was amazing was there on a Saturday around 9pm the girl that work in the front was great took orders, got us our food and drinks. all by her self doing everything and check in with us even she was slam with customer. Fantastic! A lucky find for us. We had the pulled pork plate with Mexican corn and cole slaw – all perfectly prepared and very generous servings. My friend had the BBQ Sampler w/potato salad and a dif. side I can’t remember. Service was solid, the owner was present and the televised sports were solid too. We will be back while here on biz this week!

Windy City Ribs & Whiskey is a very good place to enjoy a smooth a easy going lunch or dinner. Chicago has over the years opened up to the open restaurant window concept and Windy City Ribs & Whiskey has it. When you sit inside you feel relaxed and ready to get to eating some delicious BBQ. I tried the sampler they have to offer which gives you rib tips, a half slab, chicken and a portion of beef brisket. All of them were delicious and tender. The beef brisket was good no doubt. The rib tips were cooked how rib tips should be cooked. The half slab falls off the bone. The chicken, man the chicken is amazing. The fries they have are seriously on point too. Now please keep in mind they are using a Midwest style sauce so it has that tangy taste that can be a change of pace from the deep south sauce that tends to be sweet. Either way you’ll love it and the service is on point too. If you want some great BBQ this is a great spot to get some. Five stars from me!

Great little local place. We got the sampler plate. Brisket was on point, green beans were delicious, and the lovely server at the bar had a heavy hand. We finished eating before I remembered to snap a pic!

I’m trying to figure out how every single item was disgusting. I ordered the sampler through Door Dash. It came with brisket, ribs, rib tips, and sausage, and two sides were coleslaw and fries. I ordered Mexican corn on the side. All the meat was burned, coleslaw was flavorless, fries tasted old, elotes tasted like they used all old ingredients and the corn was cooked in old grease. It was completely disgusting will never order from there again.

Unexpectedly good food. Wanted ribs, got the BBQ sampler: Ribs, Rib Tips, Wings, & Sausage. Green Beans and Mexican Corn. All I can say is this was a great stop to eat. Then the ladies that are in the joint and the ones that come by or walk by are . Windy City Ribs & Wings is definitely 5out5. See yall again fam.
