One of the best pizzas I’ve had in years. Ordered the small heart attack and was pleasantly surprised. Enough for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow. Ordered delivery so can’t say much about the establishment.

Being from Chicago, I never expected it to be good. This was actually close and tasted good. Hot, cooked well out of the oven. A good amount of crispy crust, cheese and even about the right amount of sausage. Was impressed by the pizza and taste.
2 things disappointing.
1. The dining room closes at 8pm. So plan ahead. Even tried to order a pizza early and eat

2. The next day was not as good as the day picked up. For me that is always a test, cold or heated

We came here to try the Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. Let me tell you, it was super good! It’s definitely worth the wait. The pizza takes about 45 minutes, but it is well worth it. It might be a little on the pricey side for pizza, but it is really good. I definitely recommend trying this pizza for sure.
The place was not so busy either. Actually, we were the only ones who were in there for a while. Very clean place as well. They also have little games to do as well. The decor is pretty cool as well.
Would definitely come back again!

Ordered the deep dish. They didn’t cut it. I called to ask why and they said they stopped cutting the deep dish pizzas. You have to request it. Never heard of a pizza place not cutting pizzas. And the last time I picked up, both people up front walked to the back once I walked in, then came back out a minute later, with barely a greeting. So, if you decide to order from here, make sure they cook it and put it in a box.

While the pizza itself tastes good and we love the amount of cheese, when I place an order online it’s usually wrong. Tonight’s order of a deep dish pizza was just to add pepperonis (which was a slight upcharge). There were none so we paid for the topping we didn’t get. Last time, our order took a long time to receive for delivery because of no delivery drivers. I’d ordered hours in advance to plan ahead for dinner. I order ahead because of how long it takes to make the orders. Had I known, I would have just gotten food elsewhere. Unfortunately, I am done with giving them opportunities to keep missing the mark.

The deep dish was truly awful. I dont know how they get away calling it a deep dish. If you’ve had a true Chicago deep dish then you’ll likely leave here disappointed. The dough was so bland and lacked flavor. The beef topping was spicy and not at all like any beef topping I’ve had anywhere else. The service was fine. The atmosphere was lacking. It’s so quiet and boring. They had scooby doo on tv until Netflix asked “are you still watching” and no one was around to select “yes” so then we sat in absolute silence. It was a weird vibe and the deep dish was awful. We will never return.m to this restaurant.

Windy City is our “go to” pizza place! Their thin crust, square cut pizza reminds us of the unique St. Louis-style. And their deep dish Chicago-style is well worth the wait! On top of the delicious food is the always friendly service—no matter if we dine in, get carry out or have it delivered.

I’ve been to Chicago a few times and after the first visit I fell in love with deep dish.
The staff were extremely polite and knowledgeable. I called my order in for pick up. When I arrived they were welcoming and my order was ready. We ordered the Heart Attack and substituted beef with bacon. They do not skimp on the meats and cheese and my family enjoyed it very much. I know we’ll be returning in the future.

Best Deep dish pie hands down! The sauce , the fresh ingredients ! the atmosphere feels like you are home in the 80s, lots of decor, plenty of games both video and pool table. Cozy atmosphere that feels homy.
