First is the atmosphere. The inside and outside was really clean! I did not go to the restrooms so I cannot speak to that. I did take off 1 star as there were random things out, like in the pic of the bar, but nothing too drastic. Would have only taken a 1/2 but that’s not an option here.
The food was extremely fresh! The portions were great, minus the turkey sausage, and everything was brought out really quick. Took off 1 star, again would have only done a 1/2, for the fact that my pancake was lukewarm on the verge of cold and I did not like the grits at all. I believe that they just didn’t time bringing the pancake well and I’m not a grit connoisseur so maybe someone likes them. Lastly, I liked the fact that the veggies were fresh and not heavily seasoned. Side note, I believe the pancakes are box pancakes but they were made well.
The staff were really quick, attentive, and efficient. He noticed I stopped looking at my menu and came directly over to take my order. I believe it was only him and the lady in the back cook and my food still came out extremely fast.
All in all I feel it is a great place to try and has exceptional quantity and pricing for an establishment in Atlanta.
When the food finally arrived, the country fried steak was clearly frozen and soggy, and we even had to wave someone down to get water refills. I have tried this place several times and really wanted to like it, but service, timing, food, and communication need serious improvement.
she gets the western omelet which is FULL of delicious ham, peppers, onions, and cheese. the cooks always put just the right amount of ingredients, the omlet itself is super fluffy, and comes with hashbrowns.
my all time go-to is are the ham egg and cheese biscuits. i csnt express enough how delicious the biscuits are here. always buttery and soft, with just the right amount of crispy outside to make them flakey and perfect. the ham egg and cheese are always perfectly portioned and make for the perfect morning biscuit sandwich.
lastly and certainly MY favorite item on the menu is the fried green tomato and pimento cheese biscuits. yall, its a southern delight that is unmatched. the soft biscuit paired with a crispy fried green tomato and topped with melty AMAZING pimento cheese. THE BEST item on the menu if you dig the down home southern charm.
cant say enough great things about this place. another standout menu item is the gyro omelet with gyro meat and fetta cheese. the skillets are amazing too. i could go on forever about this place, but ill suffice to say, ya gotta check this place out, you wont be disappointed
I tried fried green tomatoes for ghe first time. Yummy. Biscuits are excellent, too.
Lots of regulars, which is always a good sign.
Take note: the sign on the building says “WCG Diner”. Ample parking.
Fresh biscuit and real egg not from liquid eggs!
I’m going to be a regular here!!
