Windward Passage might be my favorite restaurant in Columbus. The service is always, always great and the food is consistently delicious. Friday and Saturday nights are the best nights to go because there are complimentary cinnamon rolls!! I love Waldorf salad and I don’t know of anywhere else to get it. We got friend shrimp and shrimp scampi – yum – and the oysters remmick.

Hands down the best seafood in Columbus, and some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Don’t be offput by the dated interior – the food is utterly incredible. You can get things that have disappeared off other places’ menus for years, such as the Waldorf salad. The complimentary sweet bread is likewise incredible. The clam chowder is my gold standard. But that all pales in comparison to the fish. The fish is the star of the show. Delicate, flaky, and cooked to perfection every time. This place doesn’t advertise, and doesn’t need to. Arrive early or be prepared to wait…but worry not, for it is worth it.

Literal hidden gem! It’s 5 mins from our house yet we had never heard of it and decided to try it out tonight. Absolute win! We had a variety of seafood and it was all fresh and delicious! Natalie, our server, was great! So personable and friendly. She also gave great recommendations! We honestly can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!!

Came here my birthday thinking i would have a great one. First thing the hostess was very rude! Then i ask for a table and she tried to set us at a booth. One waitress at the bar wasnt much better. Its awful to come in a good mood and face these attitudes. Its my understanding that these ladies have been theree for years and nothing going to change. They evidently dont care how they treat you because people keep going back. Hostess was awful and i do mean awful. Another waitress told me that the hostess cant handle stress. Its shows to. I would love to know who owns the joint don’t know if that woukd make a difference to complain

My steak was reasonably priced and cooked to the perfect mid rare temp but it was the blandest tasting piece of meat I’ve ever eaten in my life. Couldn’t have had even a sprinkle of seasoning on it. Fries are frozen. However my wife absolutely loved the king crab legs so it made it worth the visit.

We dined with family to celebrate an anniversary. We enjoyed the fried zucchini, crab legs, shrimp scampi, grilled shrimp, and the perch. The food was first rate, service was friendly (even humorous) and the ambiance was fitting of fine dining on a peer or worf. Everyone in our party of four enjoyed our meals and a good time was had by all.
