Tonight’s dinner was truly a delight from start to finish! The prime rib was exceptional — tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor — easily rivaling some of the best I’ve ever enjoyed. Each bite was savory perfection, melting in the mouth and leaving me wanting more.

Our server made the evening even better, attentive and friendly, ensuring everything ran smoothly and adding a personal touch that made us feel genuinely cared for. The broccoli was slightly firmer than ideal, but still fresh and flavorful, nothing to overshadow the main event.

And the cinnamon rolls… what a sweet finale! Warm, soft, and perfectly spiced, they were a decadent treat that rounded out the meal beautifully. From the impeccable prime rib to the comforting dessert, the whole experience was memorable, cozy, and utterly satisfying — a dinner that left us smiling and fully content.

Went here for the first time tonight to celebrate my birthday. Based off the reviews I was hoping it would be good. My experience was AMAZING! They have free bread and cinnamon rolls on the weekends, thought that was neat. Crab cake appetizer ($10) was so fresh and full of crab. I got the 16oz king crab legs (delicious and fresh) salad, red potatoes and broccoli ($63) and my husband got the filet and 7oz lobster with fries, salad and broccoli ($70) Service was great from hostess to server, 10/10 will be going back very soon.

Excellent food, decent service, and clean atmosphere. Our party got a variety of dinners. The steak, liver, oysters, mahi mahi, and clam chowder were excellent. Lobster tail was a little tough. Overall great experience and will definitely go back!

A Hidden Treasure for Crab Lovers & More! If you’re craving the best crab legs in town, look no further—this place is an absolute gem! The crab legs are steamed to perfection, bursting with sweet, tender meat that practically melts in your mouth. Served with heated drawn butter, soup, rolls and sides, every bite is pure indulgence. But it’s not just about the crab legs—their seafood selection is outstanding, from buttery lobster tails to crispy fried shrimp and plump, juicy oysters. Everything is incredibly fresh, clearly sourced with care, and served in generous portions that leave you fully satisfied.

Even if seafood isn’t your thing, their menu has delicious alternatives, like perfectly grilled steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and other hearty dishes. No matter what you order, the quality is consistently top-tier.

What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional customer service. The staff treats you like family, always greeting you with a smile, checking in to make sure your meal is perfect, and even remembering regulars’ favorite orders. Pair your meal with one of their fantastic drinks—their cocktails are some of the best in town, expertly mixed and refreshing.

Despite the high-quality food and service, the prices are surprisingly reasonable, making it a great spot for both special occasions and casual dinners. Whether you’re a seafood fanatic or just looking for a fantastic meal in a welcoming atmosphere, this restaurant delivers every time.
A must-visit for unbeatable crab legs, stellar service, and an all-around amazing dining experience!

If you’re headed here on the weekend, prepare for a bit of a wait, usually around 30 to 40 minutes – but it’s completely worth it. People actually drive from over an hour away just to eat here, and many regulars have been coming for more than two decades!
They serve a warm, cinnamon roll as a complimentary appetizer on weekends.

Once you’re seated, you’re in for a seafood treat. The Grouper is beautifully flaky and packed with flavor, the Orange Roughy is buttery and just melts in your mouth, and the seared tuna has that perfect peppery crust and tender center. And the Walleye? Lightly breaded and fried to crispy perfection, served with a homemade tartar sauce that’s the ideal combination.
This is a must try sea food restaurant in Columbus area!

Windward Passage was a fantastic experience!! Our server Emma was top notch! We loved the nautical theme. We visited to (silently) celebrate my birthday. I had the Oysters on the half shell (large plump, meaty, not gritty), King Crab legs (sweet, firm), Lobster tail (South African, cold water tail – large, plump, sweet, tender, juicy), Clam chowder (average, but good). My partner (not the seafoodie) opted for chicken fingers and fries. We loved the casual (not posh/stuffy) vibe. Emma was on top of EVERYTHING even having a few other table near us. She was not pushy in regard to time or up-selling. All of our requests were fulfilled. The dinner from course to course was timed perfectly. Winward Passage even provided a couple elements we haven’t experienced in quite a while.

Definitely some of the best seafood I’ve had in the Columbus area. I had a deliciously blackened cut of flounder with wild rice. The crab cakes are to DIE for. Easily the best I’ve had in my lifetime.
The staff is friendly and the seaworthy atmosphere is charming. The only minus comes from a pair of poorly done filet minons, which were tough to swallow and definitely not medium. The lobster tail they came with were fantastic though.
Stick to the surf and forget the turf and you’ll enjoy it very much

Hard pressed to think of a better prime rib in this city. Crab cakes were insanely rich. Not a bad thing on the menu. Our kids are adventurous and love raw oysters and crab legs, along with the decor, it’s fun for all. I rarely say service is exceptional, but our server Isabelle was just that. It felt like we never waited on anything. Go early or face a wait; they don’t take reservations, and don’t need too. If you do have to wait it is worth it.

This used to be our go too. Had the worst dining experience here tonight. The hostess was extremely rude and unprofessional. Also rude and unprofessional were several members of the wait staff. Was told our wait was going to be 20 minutes, ended up to be close to 50 minutes.

Is this under new management? Extremely disappointing. Thank god for the food and our server Heather, the only two bright spots of our evening!
