I had an incredible dining experience at Windsor Station Restaurant in Windsor, Vermont! The moment I stepped inside, the nostalgic decor transported me to a classic train station, creating a charming and unique ambiance. The food was simply delightful, with every dish bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The attention to detail and presentation were evident, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Cozy place with the history and comfort food. Offers kids menu and huge portions for kids and adults. We ordered a full size calamari, full size mussels and a burger to share for two people and could not finish all the food By the way, mussels had an amazing broth, sort of sweet and sour/thai like.

It was my first time out to this restaurant as I am new to the area. Upon arrival, it took a few minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence. Once we were seated, we were greeted promptly, however our waitress was not very friendly. Despite ordering very soon after being seated, it took roughly 40 minutes to receive our food. Despite having a table that she walked by 1000x because it was right next to the door/kitchen, Emilee rarely checked on us other than asking us if we needed anything AS SOON AS our food hit the table. She gave us a togo box container with a lid that didn’t fit. I ended up going up to the counter to get a lid that fit and was greeted by a very friendly person with dreds. Honestly the nicest experience I had here was with this person, and if I go back to dine in it will be because of them. They ended up clearing my table and grabbing us our desserts. In the end the food was honestly incredible, but took forever to arrive (40+ mins).

Really cool looking restaurant (it used to be train stop/station) food is good too. Got fried calamari for appetizer. Pasta Norma and grilled sirloin chimichuri for entre’. I believe we were lucky with our waitress, she’s very attentive and personable. I noticed that not every waitstaff are as bubly as her. 1 thing I don’t really like is that our table is literally next to the front door and it shook every time the doors open or close. Very disruptive and annoying.

Fantastic food on the way up to Stowe – would be a destination on its own given cool decor/history of building. Such kind service and in terms of food – maple butter with bread basket and special ragu pasta were incredible. Burgers and wings also delicious. Highly recommend, and simple to reserve a table online.

Fabulous! I love the ambiance in this restaurant, it’s an old train station that has been refurbished and is so beautiful! The setup is great, the bar section and seating on that side is separated from another room of seating. The menu is always great and the desserts are divine.

This restaurant is a must if you are in the area. The online reservation was very easy to use. We were seated immediately upon arriving and greeted by our server Mark, who was a friend by the end of our dinner. He was polite, very knowledgeable about the history of the station and the menu. We were served warm bread with maple butter that was very good. My husband ordered the Chicken Marsala and for me the Filet Mignon. Both dishes were quite possibly the best meals we have ever had. The chicken and filet melted in our mouth, the mashed potatoes were creamy and the vegetables cooked perfectly. We don’t usually order dessert, but decided to share their famous chocolate cream pie and carrot cake with Maple frosting, both were so delicious. What an amazing meal along with superb service all at a very reasonable cost. Well done, we will be back.

We were traveling through town and we’re looking for a dinner spot. Windsor station restaurant was bustling. Unfortunately there was not a table available for us so we had to dine at the bar. The bartender was attentive and service was great. My wife and I both had the housemaid Pasta dishes-excellent!

After eating here quickly at the bar a couple of years ago, we said how we wanted to get back and sit in the dining room. With Covid, it took longer than we thought. But we made it a point to drive a distance from NH and we were not disappointed!!! The food was fantastic, extremely well-prepared, and our meals were served piping hot at the same time (something that other restaurants just can’t seem to do). Not a huge menu but it covered all the bases. The pasta was homemade, and you could readily tell. The deserts first-class too. We can’t think of a thing that could be improved on and we can’t wait to go back!
