For the past three years my family and I have gone to the haunted mini golf at the Windmill in Hopewell,PA. The course is decorated with familiar horror themes and a few ‘monsters’ walk the grounds scaring the golfers and especially the kids which makes for a fun Halloween event.

Great little ice cream spot that also serves burgers, hotdogs, fries and more. Service is always fast and friendly. There have been a few comments about the prices being high but when you look at the cost of everything these days the prices aren’t out of line at all. All good on that front.
They also have a miniature golf course but we didn’t use it. Yesterday we were getting ready to purchase a round when I observed a family on the course with a dog. The dog was on a leash and doing its business in the middle of the “green” while the owner stood there watching. I realize you want to be dog friendly but perhaps the miniature golf course isn’t the best place to allow them. Anyway, we decided against that activity. I mention it just so folks know when they are contemplating the miniature golf it might have just been used as a dog park.

would give 5 stars but they have a photo of someone on their slide show that shouldnt be there. And the parking lot is super awkward on a busy night. Delicious ice cream!

The Halloween theme that was still in process of being completed but was artistically done, we enjoyed the paintings. The mini golf greens need some TLC though, there is alot of bricks loose & the greens bunched up in places but still a challenging mini golf session nonetheless. The staff inside could have been a little friendlier but we had a great time!

Windmill Ice Cream is the best ice cream place ever! I like the name “Snowstorm” for the blizzards and I love the vanilla Snowstorm because on April 29th I had an infatuation with Snowstorm. We had fun together. We watch How to Train Your Dragon, and the infatuation started on March 1st and it was like looking at Snowstorm, the infatuation and I had Toothless on March 3rd I was supposed to have Toothless on a later time but I was asleep and I had Toothless. I went in my cave because I didn’t know I was going to have Toothless and I fell asleep I didn’t know a few hours later I would be roaring in my sleep and a little Toothless is going to come out and when I was in a deep sleep I was roaring in my sleep and when Toothless’s tail came out, I woke up and I checked on Toothless and Snowstorm came to check on Toothless and I will never forget the word he said Toothless is very cute congrats Luna and then when is snow storm was about to leave he checked on Toothless one last time and I was sleeping beside Toothless and I cuddled toothless for the first time the first few days after having Toothless are just sleeping with Toothless and giving Toothless his milk and sometimes he’s thirsty so he takes a nap in his cave and the cave was where I had Toothless and he’s so cute. Toothless and I did everything together and we still saw Snowstorm. I was a little infatuated and I still slept with Toothless. The same thing happened when I had little luna. did you know I had Toothless and little luna in the same cave? That was shocking and the cave that I sleep in is now Toothless’s cave I was awake after I heard Toothless’s Roar and now Toothless and I graduated together I’m Toothless will snore and take a nap

My daughters and I went there for dinner and mini golf. We like their burgers and hot dogs, better than any of the chains around. French fries are their best item, imo. Everyone there was friendly and nice. Mini golf was fun- no crowds on a weeknight so we just went at our own pace. We haven’t been in a few years, it looks like they redid the course in blue carpet- it’s pretty nice-looking and fun. The only bummer was that the restroom was out of order so when my daughter had to use the bathroom partway through the golf, we kind of rushed through the round so we could leave and find a bathroom. Once they fix that, I think it’s 5 stars, at least for the meals and golf. Didn’t stay for ice cream because we couldn’t this time, but I’ve had it before. It’s very good, especially the chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches-we love those. I definitely recommend. Lots of parking and good food.

Tremendous ice cream, sundaes, snowstorms (DQ blizzards) and shakes. Plus they have chip n which cookie / ice cream sandwich that is ridiculously good. The portion sizes are insane!!! Their small is most peoples large. Never had the burgers or savory food, but imagine it’s just as good. Miniature golf also! This is a must stop!!!!

I stopped in after having dinner at Harold’s Inn right next door one evening… Their menu is pretty large, loaded with shakes, various novelties like sundaes, their version of a “Blizzard”, etc. I opted for their version of the Blizzard and it was decent, until I got to the bottom third and there was no topping down there, because they didn’t blend it properly. Service also wasn’t very happy and friendly, which you expect from an ice cream joint.
Experience was “meh!”

They’ve slowly been updating the golf course, which is nice. It’s a little pricey, on my opinion, for what it offers. The ice cream and food are delicious!! Food is process very reasonably. Best banana splits around!!!

If you want to mini golf…. Walk away! Shoddy course where bricks are not even connected ( see pics). And it’s $8.50 a game. The ice cream place is solid. Ice cream is average and price a little high. If you want ice cream, just go down the street and get it at Brewster!
