We Have had a good experience whenever we eat in the restaurant, but whenever we get takeout the quality of food ends up being disappointing. Called our order in and told they will be ready in 30 minutes. We got there in the time we were told to be and brought them back home. The wings are all cold and hard (like they had been sitting) and barely have any sauce on them if any at all, some had no sauce. For just under $44 for 24 wings this was very disappointing. Highly likely I won’t be back as it doesn’t seem like they are consistent in their food quality.

Awesome food! Great wings, burgers and the meatloaf special I had today was amazing. Reasonable prices and fantastic staff. It’s easy to see why they’ve been successful for so many years!

If you are a chicken wing lover, Windjammers is a must. They are cooked to perfection and have so many unique sauces and rubs. My plan is to eat them all!

1st time trying out windjammers. I ordered a half dozen wing in garlic pepper sauce, western burger and fries, Takeout. Positive everything was fully cooked and tasted well. The food overall once I arrive home was warm but not hot. The burger was good, and good amount of meat and the cheese and bacon paired well with it. the fries were on the oily side. The wings had sauce on them but weren’t too saucy. I can recommend trying windjammers out to see if you like it.

A local recommended this spot specifically for the wings and it did not disappoint. We had honey garlic, buffalo and garlic pepper parmesan. Definitely worth a visit for the wings.
We also had both regular and sweet potato fries but they were average. Service was good and we liked that drinks were $1 (no refills).

I very much enjoyed the wing flavors in the past. However, my latest visit shows that they’ve changed some of the ratios in their sauces. I ordered the blueberry, which I’ve had before, and it came more like “Cinnamon Toast Crunch.”

There was so much cinnamon sugar, the sugar was sand-like and gritty. Not being a fan of cinnamon sugar, I attempted to wash the wings and refry them so I could enjoy some of the $100 that I just spent.

Consistency goes a long way.

I also ordered the peach wings for the first time and found them to have almost the same level of cinnamon sugar.

The other items I ordered met my expectations.

Blueberry wings were so good! Tried the cajun wings too, but still would choose the blueberry wings the next time around. The blueberry wings were sitting in a lot of oil though, so had to move my wings to another plate.

I think I need to defend this bar as I have gone a handful of times. This is the only place in Rochester they have different shelves of beer that are less than 5 dollars a can. I was able to get 5 beers for $10.00. I am partial to the wings as I know they are fresh and not frozen and they have a huge assortment. Their wings are the same price as all other bars and restaurants – google it. I have gone at all times of the day and I have never felt unsafe. ALL of the staff love to see kids and did not care my 5 and 7 year old boys playing darts while I waited for take out, the owner walked by and did not care either.

You need to use logic when you are going to eat or get take out! In August on a Wednesday I went for lunch as soon as they open and it took about 20 minutes to get my food. Now earlier in September I went with a couple of friends we waited 40 minutes for a table and 60 minutes for food but what do you expect the first bills game of the season. The past 2 weeks I have gotten take out wings and they tell you its a 45 minute wait. Sometimes you get them in less but I have never waited longer than 45 minutes.

The only compliant is peanut oil. I did not know they use it nor do I care.

Food was great. Hostess was fabulous and busted her butt to clear tables to get them caught up, but it took over an hour for a dozen wings. But the wings are so good, especially the blueberry. I will definitely go back again and put up with the slow service.
