Once you locate the restaurant down the winding drive, it is a good experience. Large menu with daily specials. Prime rib is excellent, as well as the burger and fries. Service was slow. Tv right above the bar for sports.

Food was not good. Made mistakes twice with my wife’s dinner. Was not handicapped accessible for my father. The service could have been much better and for the 2 mistakes on my wife’s dinner they have my grandmother a whole $2 the total bill. Couldn’t have had a worse experience after driving for 3 hrs to go to lunch for an enjoyable time with family! This place could use some improvement on several levels!

Very good meal and atmosphere. Service was respectful & friendly. Preparation took a bit of time due to another event in the back room. Wouldn’t have worked well if we were in a hurry…but we weren’t. Enjoyed the meal & quite filling.

Service was less than satisfactory and then they made undercooked potatoes twice and served the wrong food once. On top of that 2 of our 5 meals were prepared less than satisfactory. And they burned the rice pilaf. I for one will never be back. The Ribeye steak sandwich was chewy and barely warm. We took 5 of our family members here in the recommendation of my uncle and even my uncle whom was with us was dissatisfied. I’ve never been to an outing for dinner and had less quality food and service. For all of the mistakes they were gracious enough to take $2 of the bill. In and of itself is a joke!

Clean, yummy food, and great service. The Pretzel Sicks with Beer Cheese was extremely good. We enjoyed the Burger and Chicken Alfredo as well. Great place to stop!

There aren’t many choices to eat in Kimball. A couple of fast food joints a greasy spoon and the Windbreak Bar and Grill. it certainly has the best food in town and the greatest variety but it’s not a meal you’re going to remember.

Food is pretty good. Prices not terrible. Took 2 hours from time we arrived until we left for 5 adults and 2 kids to get lunch on a Wednesday.
