There was a large group of us (15) and we were looking for a place to meet, have brunch and just be comfortable. The brunch was very nice, a large variety of items, everything was very fresh. The atmosphere is darling, there is ample street parking but the highlight of our brunch was our server Lisa. She did a great job. It was as if we had a private room and server! Would definitely go back!

Place is amazing everything I had was great! The honey mustard chicken sandwich is amazing! The bread is so soft! Literally best club type sandwich I’ve had all year! Gf ordered the stuff chicken Breast was amazing as well! And the dessert omg melted vanilla cake with strawberries!! Wow!!! And great the service was great as well! Highly recommend

Aside from menu items which are both unique and excellent this is a must stop if you’re a “bar hopper”. The decor and atmosphere are very trendy and defines “cool”. The drinks are served looking offbeat yet classy. It’s also a great place for that “first date”. No pressure and the servers are friendly and informative. Personally, I love Winberie’s because it truly is a very easy place to have a great time. One more thing to keep in mind. It’s literally walking distance to many other places all top quality. All in all I always have a great experience and laughter is a given.

Winberie’s is just great! The cozy ambiance, excellent varied menu and dishes nicely prepared and always tasty. They recently added a scrumptious chicken pot pie topped with a buttery French pastry that I can’t wait to have again. Their bread served in a basket is crusty and is so good I usually purchase a loaf to take home. Daily specials add to the varied menu. The calamari is so good i sometimes just have it on a salad. Cocktails and desserts are also excellent. Service is outstanding. Our server Dorothy is wonderful. Knows all the dishes and is eager to describe ingredients. She led us to the chicken pot pie and was spot on. The restaurant is located on a nice stretch of Oak Park avenue. We are always happy to come back as a first choice for lunch or dinner. It is a very well managed place.

The food is EXCELLENT! It is very family friendly too. The kids menu was so perfect for my two young boys. Their mixed drinks are creative and delicious! There were 6 of us in our party and they had no trouble accommodating us immediately. Great place. Will be back.

Food was good. French onion soup was delicious. Clean, nicely decorated. Hostess was friendly. The waitress, not so much. She looked less than pleased to be there. It was early, on a Thursday night so it wasn’t at all busy or crowded. She absolutely rushed us through everything. Literally asked if we wanted dessert while I was half way through and chewing on my salad entree. Brought the check before dessert menu. Wow. Not impressed with the service at all.

It has been years since we were here last, and we decided to celebrate the first warm day of the year by going out to try it again since it is so close. We had a good time, first by finding a parking spot right near the corner entrance. Then we found that they had a few nice specials this evening. I had the double pork chop – really tender with flavorful light breading. Overall, the service was good but the prices were a bit above our norms.

I’ve really come around on this restaurant. I had a poor lunch experience many years ago, but the last two visits this year have been great.
Was able to eat lunch here with my 3 year old and they found us a nice, out-of-the-way corner where he wouldn’t irritate anyone.
Also was very pleased with the cedar plank salmon and brussel sprouts. Portions were perfect.
