This restaurant is truly a hidden gem! From the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth, not just from the cozy, beautiful atmosphere, but from the amazing staff who make you feel right at home. The food is absolutely out of this world, I grew up eating Indonesian food and trust me when i say its authentic Indonesian flavors that bring the taste of Bali right to you, without needing a plane ticket.

If you’re new to Indonesian food, I highly recommend starting with the sate, tender skewers served with their own special sauce that’s rich and flavorful. The crispy duck is another must-try, perfectly cooked with a crunch that will have you coming back again and again. And don’t worry if you’re vegetarian, they have delicious veggie options too!

Not sure what to order? Go for the rijsttafel. It’s the perfect way to sample a little bit of everything from the menu and discover your new favorite dish.

This is more than just a meal—it’s an experience. Do yourself a favor and come try it. Once you do, you’ll definitely be back. ❤️

We ate here when they first opened, and it had been years since our last visit; so glad we came back for dinner. We ordered two of their rustafels and the shrimp noodles, and everything was delicious. Their cocktails have really improved since our first visit and are reasonably priced too. We’ll definitely need to make a point to come back more often.

This restaurant is fantastic. On a whim I looked to see if there was any Indonesian food in the city, and there was! It’s one of my favorite types of Asian food, but unfortunately, it is very hard to find, even in a city like San Francisco. Without a lot of competition I did not have overly high expectations, but the restaurant met and exceeded them easily. Taste of Bali is fantastic and my server was one of the co-owners who is incredibly helpful and informative. I opted to get a bunch of small plates instead of a single entrée and they were all excellent. Unfortunately, that meant I didn’t get to try the run. Dang which is one of my favorite. In college I had an Indonesian roommate who used to make something that I really liked. I described it to the owner and he told me he knew what it was, something called foo yung hai, but unfortunately, although he makes it at home, they don’t have it in the restaurant. I wish I lived in Atlanta so I can come here more, but when I come back, I will be back to this restaurant as well.

First time trying Indonesian Food and it did not disappoint. The parking in the area is complicated and limited. The restaurant was beautiful but the door kept opening which kept cooling the place.

The server was super nice and the food came out fairly quickly. The espresso martini was a 1/10, not a well curated cocktail. The smashed potatoes were super bland and lacked flavor. Our entrees on the other hand were absolutely delicious. I loved the Rijsttafel was the best dish to order in order to try the most dishes. The fish curry, shrimp sambal, chicken sate, fried rice and veggie stew were all well seasoned and cooked. I loved it.

I highly recommend and checked it off my list to try a new cuisine.

My first time ever trying Indonesian Food and I was underwhelmed. The flavors were just subtle but I can appreciate them not overly salting their food. I ordered the crispy chicken which included, yellow rice, pickled carrots and cucumbers, seasoned tofu, and coconut soup with potatoes. Surprisingly the Tofu and Chicken were the stars on the plate. Each meal also comes with complimentary crackers with a tomato base sauce on the side. Overall the service was good and the price was affordable I just was not fond of the overall taste with everything.

Also note they automatically add gratuity to your bill regardless of your party size and free parking offered.

I celebrated my 40th birthday here. Everything we ordered for the table was excellent. I just recommended this place to my hair stylist to consider for her birthday this month. I need to visit this weekend, lol

We came here for my daughter’s birthday lunch with 13 people. We had the best time. They set us up in a separate room/area with plenty of space. The restaurant is modern, trendy, & so clean. The ladies were impressed with the ladies restroom. The foods were wonderful, check out the photos. The service were spot on. The manager & owner were so nice to us, going out of their way to make sure we were happy with the drinks (sorry no photos) & the foods. Next time you have a party, book this place. You will be amazed. Last & not least, they gave me a 10% discount on the bill before tax & tip. I asked the manager/owner to take it off. She declined & said they wanted to show their appreciation for us booking with them. Such nice people, hard to find these days. Please support their business. Almost forgot, birthday girl got a free dessert & we got free shrimp chips with sambal sauce.

Love all the food we ordered!!! The crispy duck was a surprise when the meat is tender and juicy. We’ve had it in Bali sitting outside next to the rice paddy field and this brings back good memory. Service was good as the waitress was very friendly and had good recommendation.

I dare say that I know Indonesian food. I grew up with an Indonesian mother and have visited the country on many occasions. So I can be pretty picky… But I must say – WIN Taste of Bali really delivered! I was impressed! We ordered:

– Lobster Tempura (A): Delicious! Probably the best dish we tried
– Krupuk (A): Takes me back to my childhood! Very good. Krupuk is a shrimp-based deep-fried cracker
– Bali Grilled Pork Baby Back Ribs (A-): Very tasty
– Chargrilled Tofu Bites (A-): Great consistency and quite flavorful
– Chicken Satay – (B+) Not the best I’ve had, but good satay nonetheless. More peanut sauce would’ve been ideal
– Vegetable Spring Rolls (B): Pretty good
– Pork Wontons (B): Pretty good

WIN Taste of Bali has a very extensive and intriguing menu. We’ll be coming back to try other menu items. Their service was great and their ambiance is inviting. We spent $108.79 for dinner for three (21% tip, water, 1 mocktail, 1 main entrée and 5 or 6 smaller dishes).
