I loved this place. The reason for the 4 ☆ is because they didn’t have green sauce! I love green sauce on my Mexican food and I don’t understand how a Mexican restaurant can be out of green sauce for dinner service on Saturday night, actually anytime. Other than that, everything was really good.

Really good food. The “to go” taco kits are awesome and come with so many extras. There is a general seating area and a separate bar area. Looks like owners are working on updating the place so it looks a bit run down inside, but it adds to the atmosphere of being an old dive place.

That was second time that I was there. I live in Rockford. My sister lives in Sterling and it’s one of her favorite places to eat and the portions are awesome. The food is awesome in the service was awesome

Taco tuesday!! The service was really good, the food was really good. I loved the salsa and the white queso. I had the flauta dinner, it was great. I’ve been there several times, and never had a bad experience.

To be brutally honest I had to bite my tongue when served what even the owner called an over-priced kids meal. There was nothing memorable about the restaurant itself or our food. For what we paid for we could’ve fed a family and in return were sorely let down by the bland taste and small portions. Even the wife’s margarita was watered down. Feel bad to leave such a poor review but truth is truth.

Started with blended Pineapple margaritas. After the first sip, there was no real pineapple taste. The chips and salsa–salsa was a bit spicey for us, but the chips were good. Only got a couple chips tasted before our meals came (the waitress forgot to bring the chips). My hubby’s pork had very little flavor and was very fatty. The beans were super salty. Rice was okay. My chicken flautas also had no real flavor, and the guacamole and sour cream was so filled with lettuce, that it was hard to spread on top. The beans were too salty, but the rice was okay. Prolly won’t return. Overall, the meal was like so many others from this area…..nothing great, with no reason to return.

Not impressed. I ordered a beef taco salad. Received a chicken one. Which was questionably pink & 95% lettuce for $10. He got the all you can eat tacos and she took his plate before he was done eating it. For the price go elsewhere. Definitely not going back again. The days of willys having good food are over. The waitress needs to actually take the orders and wrote them down. Not try to remember them. Not happy
