It’s a cool place and the staff was friendly. The French fries were good. The chicken sandwich was pretty small and lacked flavor. For dessert we got a waffle cone with one scoop of mint and one scoop of coconut. The coconut was ok, but the mint wasn’t. I get mint ice cream every place I go and this one was below average. I also got the carrot cake sundae. I had high hopes , but I can honestly say this was the worst carrot cake I’ve ever had. Im glad I can cross this place off my list of ice cream I wanted to try, but I can’t recommend going here.

So good had to stop and take pictures before it was all gone….. must stop for ice cream! Pretzel with ice cream was excellent as well. Will be back again very soon! Spoons are color changing to cold temperatures, which is a great touch.

This was a little bit of a drive for us, but I went here out of curiosity. I’ve been following them on Facebook and wanted to check it out for myself.
Willy’s Ice Cream Saloon is a roadside stand in Fleetwood, PA. Locals go here for the ice cream. I sort of intended to do that as well, but it didn’t happen. We did get food, which was pretty good.
My daughter went with the chili dog, my wife got a burger, and I got a pickle sub. Yes, you read that correctly, a pickle sub.
Instead of a bun, it was served in a pickle! I ordered a turkey pickle sub. I enjoyed it, and I love the novelty of serving it in a pickle. It was a bit on the small side, but that’s what you get using a pickle as a bun. It tasted good, and with a side of fries, I was full.
I’m not sure what seasoning was used on the fries, but it was pretty good. Maybe it was some sort of truffle?
I would like to go back to try the ice cream!

We enjoyed our experience at Willy’s ice cream saloon. The ice cream nachos are a fun dish to share with a date. The service was friendly and we did not have to wait long on a busy summer evening. We plan to go back to have some of the Penn State Creamery ice cream.

Can’t here specifically because they’re was an advertisement for highland cows going to be here from 6:00-8:00 pm today. My husband and I got ice cream for dinner. He ordered the turtle Sunday. I ordered the death by chocolate ice cream with a pretzel cone. The ice cream itself was the best death by chocolate I’ve ever had and that flavor is usually my go-to. The cone was fresh, not stale. They also serve burgers, hot dogs, fries, soft pretzels and other foods. I will def be back!!!

Delicious pickle hoagies!! And the fried pickles are great as well. Everything on the menu looks and sounds good. I didn’t get any but there’s a lot of flavors of ice cream and different combinations. They also sell their own pickles and other pickled products

Willy’s Ice Cream has a large selection of hard and soft ice cream, and also a decent selection of food like burgers, barbecue, and fries. The prices are reasonable. Seating is outdoors. I had an ice cream sandwich with homemade chocolate chip cookies and soft serve ice cream and it was delicious!

I got the pickled pierogies and a cheeseburger with the pickle de Gallo. Both were very good, but the pierogies were hands-down the best I’ve ever had.

Went to this place for the first time tonight. We drove over from Mohnton, and they did not disappoint. The food was very good and the staff was so nice. It gets really full very quick. We will definitely be back to try some other menu items!!
