Excellent food. The lunch specials are made well, seasoned by folks that know how to cook and plenty of it.
It’s a big menu. Lots of apps. Lots of entrees. Lots of choices on the daily blue plate. It’s almost too much.
Today we had the 1/2 slab of ribs, steak fries and butter beans. The ribs were finished in the grill w some barbecue sauce. They were tender and seasoned well. Good ribs.
Steak fries were excellent! Butter beans were good with a hint of smoke to them.
The country fried steak with white gravy was on point. Crispy, tender and full of flavor.
The field peas were excellent.
The chicken and dressing was Thanksgiving in mid January. It was good.
Tea, soft drinks and a full bar with more cocktails than you knew existed.
Friendly service, but was not fast despite it being a later lunch.
Place feels sort of dated and cobbled together, but clean enough.
And again, all were friendly.
Will return again and again! Highly recommend for a no pressure, filling lunch or drinks spot.

So I ordered through Uber eats and I don’t know what kind of meat they sent me, but it was definitely not prime rib! As you can see in the photo from their site it looks nothing like what I got. Then when I called them to let them know that they did not send me a medium rare prime rib the manager told me he assured me it was prime rib. Like I’m stupid and never had prime rib before. Also, the baked potato was raw and hard. And these people are gonna be charging $28 for prime rib they better be giving their customers prime rib! 100% I will not ever order any food from this restaurant. They need to either get a new manager who knows what a freaking prime rib looks like and hire new cooks because on top of everything it was not even medium rare and they need to learn how to bake baked potatoes, it’s really not that hard to do!

Fried catfish on point also got the home fries, okra, and rutabegas, …order the liquid 420 the bar tender makes an amazing strong drink here. I’d give 10 stars if possible LOVED IT!!!

we have made a decision never to go to aNother place that does not specialize in fish since we are pescatarian. the food probably would have been better if we ordered steak or something or chicken but we got fish, the fish taste like it been sitting in water all day. the portions were okay, but you can tell that fish is not what they specialize in. the fries were the worst fries we have ever got from a establishment so far. it tastes like the fries had been re-cooked again to make sure they was hot but they were stale tasting. this is another place that was recommended, that we won’t go back to again

the patty melt was not seasoned well, and the fries weren’t cooked all the way through. the mozz sticks were cold in the middle and didn’t have any cheese pull at all. the seasoning on the mozz sticks is fine, but them being cold was not good at all.

Just got this Door Dashed. I got the fried chicken, mac and cheese a roll and home fries by far the best I had in years. Amazing job to the cooks. Will try banna pudding little later im so stuffed.

Ordered take out. We got the catfish platter, chicken Alfredo, and alligator bites. The catfish platter was delicious and not salty at all. The hush puppies were amazing, it was soft and were a little sweet which we loved. The chicken Alfredo was great as well.

Worst customer service I have experienced!!!!
My staff and I have ordered lunch from this establishment on multiple occasions, and every single time our order has either been incorrect or missing items. This is not a one-time mistake, it is a consistent pattern of carelessness.
Our office is located in Ridgeland, MS, and the restaurant is in Brandon. By the time we discover missing food and attempt to have it corrected, our lunch break is nearly over. This completely defeats the purpose of ordering from this location.
After nearly three months of not patronizing this business, we decided to give it another opportunity today. Despite the restaurant not being busy, our order was still incomplete when it arrived back at the office. That level of inattention is unacceptable.
When I called to address the issue, Teresa answered, she was rude and unprofessional, placing me on hold without explanation. While Rena the manager later got on the line, the response lacked urgency and accountability. There was no real effort to acknowledge the repeated inconvenience caused to paying customers.
Repeated order errors combined with poor customer service reflect a serious lack of management oversight and operational standards. Based on our continued negative experiences, I will not be returning.

This was my first and last time ordering from here. I had a delivery order of Bayou Shrimp Pasta and the grilled pork chop dinner. The pasta was extremely dry and was nothing like described. The pork chops looked like the thin breakfast pork chops and were over cooked. I asked for cheesy garlic mashed potatoes and got plain potatoes, the macaroni and cheese was old and not good quality. For the prices, you would expect better quality.

This was the third time we visited Willy B’s. The first two times were rated at 5 stars. The food and the service were excellent. However, the third time we visited the restaurant was terrible. The staff was very nice. The restaurant was not busy. This time the food was awful. We had veggies that were not fit to eat. We had corn that was so old that it was brown. We had Mac and cheese that was spoiled. We had rice and gravy that was old and tasteless. We had greens that not fit to eat. After the first two visits, we were inviting friends and church members to join us there. But after that third visit, I don’t think we will be back. I’m very disappointed with that outcome. We came from Clinton and that is just too far to travel for that kind of service. I will have to uninvite the people who we told about our earlier experience. I wouldn’t want them experience what we did.
