Will’s Hawaiian Barbecue is right next door to my barbershop, so I eat here often—and it never disappoints. My go-to order is the spicy beef plate (or chicken, depending on the mood) with the meat and onions cooked well done for that extra char flavor, plus crispy garlic on the rice. Always cooked perfectly and packed with flavor.
I’ve seen some reviews mention rude staff, but I honestly haven’t experienced that. There is a bit of a language barrier, but they genuinely try their best, and in my opinion, they do a great job. Consistent, delicious food and a spot I’m happy to keep coming back to.

Sitting outside of their restaurant at 10:35 and they’re still not open. I’ve called to see if they were open as it does say they’re open this Friday 11/14/25. I wanted to pick up a couple musubis for lunch. They have yet to answer the phone nor unlock the doors. Very unprofessional. Please close your restaurant so we can have a business that is more professional utilize that space.

The cook is completely disrespectful. The cook answered the phone when I placed an order. He simply put the phone down and had someone else take the order since he didn’t comprehend anything I had said. He was ignoring his employee when I went to pick it up, pausing for about a minute before simply making a hand motion.

I’m a native Hawaiian living in the desert. Always looking for good Kine grindz. I stopped in because I was jonesing for some manapua. I have to say, they have decent manapua. Of course it’s not Libby’s or Chun wa Kam. But not bad!! Definitely cured my craving. My only complaint is that the manapua was the size of Bao not traditional Hawaiian manapua. I’ve since come back and got the curry katsu combo. The regular size is choke food. Enough for two people! Curry was okay, S&B would be better, but the katsu was good and their katsu sauce is good, too!

Food was tasty, large plate. I got the combo with bbq, beef and chicken plate it was about $15 but it was a large platter. Service was quick. Atmosphere was a little skeptical at first a homeless outside though it was at night. Conveniently located. Should try!

I ordered a mini chicken cutlet with 10 pieces of malasads. Chicken cutlet was not even what I expected instead of getting a order of something like a chicken cut Sue whatever instead I got pieces of chicken real thin cooked in covered whatever you wanna call it so far this is the worst chicken cutlet I’ve ever had last time ordering from there. As for the malasadas, I was expecting marcada’s like from Hawaii Melissa? Instead, I got mini buns covered in sugar. The worst ever.

When I ordered 2 Chicken katsu plates, I expected to get the actual chicken katsu. Instead all I got was crunchy bread crumbs. It wasn’t even edible to eat. So far, this was the worst place I have ever ordered from.

The macaroni salad is delicious! Had the beef teriyaki with rice… SO YUMMY! My husband has the bar bq beef sandwich and he said it was really good. I tried a french fry from his and it was so good. Definitely recommend! The portion size is big as well and was affordable.
