Went on Valentines Day. They were fairly busy. We had reservations we were greeted and seated right away. The reason for four stars on atmosphere is we were seated upstairs which was fine. The lighting is awful bright up there. There also could be a better selection for music. Service was decent the Waitress did a nice job. It did take to long to get the drinks. They were two simple drinks. The waitress had to apologize twice they were taking so long. The food, the one dish was very good (Marry me Chicken) the other dish can not remember name was a dish with Mushrooms and pasta was blah.. Not much taste. First time there overall a Good Experience.

I have been coming to Willowtree Inn for years.

The staff (including Kat, Christina, Ellen, and Jodi to name a few) have always been kind, helpful, and downright amazing.

The two-tier deck along the creek is fantastic for those who want a serene outdoor experience, and indoors has a charm of its own.

It’s my girlfriend’s favorite place in Stroudsburg (she always gets the pork with apples) and I love their variety of seafood. Entrees always come with bread and with a salad in their stellar homemade dressing.

They recently began a Saturday and Sunday brunch. My choice came with their giant, home baked croissant with egg, ham, and cheese. It was absolutely delicious, right down to the potatoes and watermelon. I’m a big eater and this has kept me satisfied to the point where I am taking a very late dinner.

When I placed my order, I asked for iced coffee. Jodi said she’d make a fresh pot and bring it to me in a glass full of ice. The coffee was not watered down and was superior to cold brewed coffee I’d buy at a hipster cafe.

The Willowtree Inn is beautifully situated along a creek, and despite its proximity to intestate 80, it has a serene and relaxing vibe. The outdoor deck spaces are stunning, and the willow tree is gorgeous.

They were decorated for Halloween above and beyond anything I think I’ve ever seen at any other restaurant. It was really impressive!

The service was fast, friendly, and non-intrusive. The food was stellar in taste and presentation.

While the menu is fairly limited compared to other restaurants, everything chosen by my party was executed well.

Based on this visit, I will absolutely return and recommend to others. The prices were a bit high, so this would be more of a special occasion venue, but if you need a romantic or special event dining venue, you can’t go wrong with this establishment.

The food tasted and smelled like mildew and mold.. our server was a little too gracious and over the top. There was only 1 other party there on a Saturday night and we were the only patrons there once they left and understandably so,,, The only enjoyable thing were the holiday decorations and atmosphere. This place would be lovely with a new head chef and some good marketing.. Would never recommend otherwise and will not return.

Beautiful restaurant. Inside & outside dining available. Beautiful garden, loved the willow tree (please don’t get rid of it, trim it and conserve it)
came here to enjoy looking at the willow tree, lake & the scene, so I just got the appetizers & drinks since we were full.
when you enter, you feel like you’re in a hotel lobby, it was confusing, but then you see the beautiful restaurant & garden.
the sangria was pleasant, but it tasted like juice.
loved, loved the French onion soup! Highly recommend.
I didn’t enjoy the vegetable dumplings
the Brie was alright, but the waitress forgot the apricot sauce, I had to remind her. ..& still it was very simple…

We had a great Sunday brunch at the Willowtree. The staff is friendly and helpful. The decor is pretty cool. There’s a great view of the creek out back if you get the right seat. The food was well prepared and delicious. We’re really glad we stopped by.

This restaurant is absolutely exceptional! The food was nothing short of spectacular—every dish was bursting with flavor and perfectly prepared. To top it all off, our server, Joann, went above and beyond to make our experience truly memorable. She was incredibly attentive, warm, and ensured that every detail of our meal was perfect.

Thank you, Joann, for your outstanding service and for making our time here splendid. We can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommended!

Deceiving from the outside, just looks like an older house, but the inside and the back deck overlooking the water were so pretty. We had a little show from a mother duck teaching her ducklings to dive. Staff was friendly and welcoming to the dogs and the food was great!

What a find!! I’m always looking for new places to try for good food and unique experiences. Since we don’t live in the area, we searched our map and decided to try the Willowtree Inn Restaurant. We were not disappointed! Everyone was so friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious.
The Baked Brie en Croute was out of this world! I had the grilled Russian sandwich. I opted to have double turky instead of turkey and ham. It was delicious, but it came with coleslaw, which I think is the restaurant’s variation of coleslaw. The taste was okay, but it was very watery and thus was dripping out of my sandwich. Sloppy but tasty. Most of the dishes came with what they listed as potato. It was a scoop of smashed potatoes. Again, they had a good taste, but for lunch, I would have preferred more of a potato salad to compliment my sandwich. My daughter ordered the 601 burger. It looked yummy, and she gave it a big thumbs up. It was perfectly cooked and she said there was no gristle in the burger! Her dish also came with a side of potato and coleslaw. Their variation of coleslaw is heavy on the shredded carrots. Just our preference, but we would have liked a more traditional coleslaw. Finally, for dessert, we decided to share a piece of the Cassata Cake. Everything about this cake is perfect!! The pound cake and cannoli filling complemented each other without being dry or overly sweet! And that espresso fudge icing….well, let’s just say I could have eaten the entire cake!!
In this review, I want the reader to know that any critiques expressed here are mostly based on our preferences. Overall, we were delighted and very satisfied with our choice! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for delicious food, a peaceful and beautiful setting, and, of course, attentive friendly service! We definitely will be back!!

Beautiful water views. So romantic but also relaxing. Live music was a nice addition to the to restaurant tranquility. Food was delicious and drinks are made well. Staff are attentive without being bothersome. We had the shrimp and scallop scampi and the salmon, tuna steak, shrimp and cod drinks were tequilas sunrise and an old fashioned
