The staff (including Kat, Christina, Ellen, and Jodi to name a few) have always been kind, helpful, and downright amazing.
The two-tier deck along the creek is fantastic for those who want a serene outdoor experience, and indoors has a charm of its own.
It’s my girlfriend’s favorite place in Stroudsburg (she always gets the pork with apples) and I love their variety of seafood. Entrees always come with bread and with a salad in their stellar homemade dressing.
They recently began a Saturday and Sunday brunch. My choice came with their giant, home baked croissant with egg, ham, and cheese. It was absolutely delicious, right down to the potatoes and watermelon. I’m a big eater and this has kept me satisfied to the point where I am taking a very late dinner.
When I placed my order, I asked for iced coffee. Jodi said she’d make a fresh pot and bring it to me in a glass full of ice. The coffee was not watered down and was superior to cold brewed coffee I’d buy at a hipster cafe.
They were decorated for Halloween above and beyond anything I think I’ve ever seen at any other restaurant. It was really impressive!
The service was fast, friendly, and non-intrusive. The food was stellar in taste and presentation.
While the menu is fairly limited compared to other restaurants, everything chosen by my party was executed well.
Based on this visit, I will absolutely return and recommend to others. The prices were a bit high, so this would be more of a special occasion venue, but if you need a romantic or special event dining venue, you can’t go wrong with this establishment.
came here to enjoy looking at the willow tree, lake & the scene, so I just got the appetizers & drinks since we were full.
when you enter, you feel like you’re in a hotel lobby, it was confusing, but then you see the beautiful restaurant & garden.
the sangria was pleasant, but it tasted like juice.
loved, loved the French onion soup! Highly recommend.
I didn’t enjoy the vegetable dumplings
the Brie was alright, but the waitress forgot the apricot sauce, I had to remind her. ..& still it was very simple…

Overall it’s a nice and pleasant experience.
Thank you, Joann, for your outstanding service and for making our time here splendid. We can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommended!
The Baked Brie en Croute was out of this world! I had the grilled Russian sandwich. I opted to have double turky instead of turkey and ham. It was delicious, but it came with coleslaw, which I think is the restaurant’s variation of coleslaw. The taste was okay, but it was very watery and thus was dripping out of my sandwich. Sloppy but tasty. Most of the dishes came with what they listed as potato. It was a scoop of smashed potatoes. Again, they had a good taste, but for lunch, I would have preferred more of a potato salad to compliment my sandwich. My daughter ordered the 601 burger. It looked yummy, and she gave it a big thumbs up. It was perfectly cooked and she said there was no gristle in the burger! Her dish also came with a side of potato and coleslaw. Their variation of coleslaw is heavy on the shredded carrots. Just our preference, but we would have liked a more traditional coleslaw. Finally, for dessert, we decided to share a piece of the Cassata Cake. Everything about this cake is perfect!! The pound cake and cannoli filling complemented each other without being dry or overly sweet! And that espresso fudge icing….well, let’s just say I could have eaten the entire cake!!
In this review, I want the reader to know that any critiques expressed here are mostly based on our preferences. Overall, we were delighted and very satisfied with our choice! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for delicious food, a peaceful and beautiful setting, and, of course, attentive friendly service! We definitely will be back!!
