Willow at Mirbeau is open to the public seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Our menus draw inspiration from French bistro cuisine and are infused with the agricultural heritage of the Hudson Valley to deliver you in-season, sustainable, and locally sourced dishes featuring produce from multi-generational farms, emergent food artisans, and craft distillers. Reflective of Mirbeau’s spa atmosphere, our Willow restaurant experience offers that same feeling of getting away to a private Parisian estate. The dining room is classically elegant and the outdoor patio, which is heated during the colder months, is the perfect setting for a relaxed night out or a special occasion. Attire is casual and refined.

Restaurant review: Willow at Mirbeau Rhinebeck is 5-star luxury
Reviews
Party of 6, we came for dinner after a busy Saturday at the Sheep and Wool Festival. We had a reservation and were seated with no wait. It’s a very comfortable space and not noisy, so we were able to talk.
As a vegan, rarely get a coherent meal at a restaurant. So this was a pleasant surprise. Two of our six ordered and enjoyed the vegan Autumn Bowl of lentils with root vegetables.
We enjoyed the crispy artichokes. Well executed. Sauce was spicy and enjoyed.
Our party enjoyed Willow Salmon with fennel orange salad: delish!;
Pan Seared Trout was enjoyed;
Duck breast was enjoyed.
We got a bottle of red wine and cocktails.
I enjoyed a strawberry margarita.
■We all had a good meal and a good time.■
Considering that the restaurant was not full, we felt the service was Slow.
All the staff were very nice.
Parking lot under the facility is large and adequate. Especially nice in rain and cold weather.
Bathroom was clean.
A Note about the Autumn Bowl:
It is priced at $34 (all inexpensive components: lentils, carrots and squash) while the Mirbeau Burger (8 Oz CAB expensive Beef with bun, cheese, onions, portobello mushrooms, bordelaise, field greens and fries) is priced at only $28!
Also, the vegan Gelato is priced at $3 more than the regular Gelato. Why?
The pricing doesn’t make sense and I think it should be re-evaluated.
I’m grateful and appreciative for the vegan options.
It’s not easy to find a coherent vegan meal in Rhinebeck NY, and this is one of the best, in a very comfortable space.
Helpful?
Food-wise, the experience was mixed. The chef’s omelette was excellent, and the alcohol-free cucumber cocktail called Spa Day was very good as well. The Harvest Grain Bowl, however, lacked imagination and proper dressing and felt more assembled than thoughtfully prepared. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and the hotel handled families well, but the brunch did not live up to the reputation of Mirbeau, especially given the missing live music. Because of that, I can’t give Willow at Mirbeau more than three stars.
The service was over the top rude and inattentive.
An hour an 15 min from the time one of us finished her appetizer until we all got our lunches. When we asked about the wait we weee met with a belligerent attitude.
It was not exceptionally busy.
I understand the Forbes standard of service. This was not that.
I had also had dinner there two weeks prior and had a very good duck dinner and service, while my partners meal was mediocre.
The prior Easter, I had brunch with a friend and we enjoyed it very much.
Not a fan of dining in the restaurant in our spa robes while the public is coming into the same room to dine.
A little cafe area for spa guest to dine would be preferable.
