International small plates and wine pairings from James Beard Semifinalists Mark & Terri Stark. The original Willi’s was founded in 2002 and was lost in the Tubbs Fire of 2017. Rising from the ashes in spring 2019 in its new home at the Town & Country Center.
Charming roadhouse cottage with a cozy patio offering Eclectic small plates & local wines.

Willi’s remains one of the most enjoyable places in Sonoma County to order a table full of small plates and share everything.
Nearly every dish we tried was excellent. The tuna tartare was fresh and balanced, the calamari perfectly crisp, and the lamb with couscous and almonds was the star of the meal — rich, tender, and honestly world-class. If it’s on the menu, order it. The bread pudding was equally memorable and a great way to end the meal.
Service was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout.
The only disappointment was the wine. For a place with “Wine Bar” in the name, the list and pricing were surprisingly underwhelming. We opened a $75 Russian River Valley Albariño that simply didn’t drink anywhere near that price point, and Alicia was also unimpressed with the recommended Sauvignon Blanc. Living in the middle of Sonoma wine country probably raises our expectations a bit, but the wine list felt like a missed opportunity given how strong the kitchen is.
Fortunately corkage is available ($35 for the first two bottles), which is probably the smartest move here. The kitchen is doing excellent work and deserves better wine than what’s currently on the list.
Come for the food — it’s terrific — and consider bringing your own bottle.

This is nothing like the Willi’s Wine Bar in Paris. It’s better! And it’s a heckuva lot closer.
I think this was my first Stark’s restaurant, and it is still my favorite, and one of my favorites in Sonoma County. Everything I’ve tried is delicious, including their wines and cocktails.
These pix are from the Happy Hour menu (except for the spinach salad, which is always a good way to add some veggies to the mix).

This is what a great wine bar should be, fantastic local wines and scrumptious food pairings. The food covers earth, surf and turf. Service was fantastic- attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

In planning a thank-you lunch for a dear colleague, I chose Willi’s for its convenient location, experience with Stark’s consistency, and outdoor patio seating on a nice day. Those turned out to just be bonuses. We ordered several dishes to share including the Chilled Oysters, Sea Bass Crudo, Arugula & Endive Salad, Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese, and Filet Mignon Sliders. We also ordered a few adult beverages (dry martini, Pulp Fiction, One In A Melon, and a glass of Aperture Sonoma County Sauvignon Blanc). EVERYTHING was so, so good. Food was delivered quickly and we just happened to curate an amazing combination of flavors. Special thanks to Emilio for his wonderful service and making it such a wonderful afternoon! We’ll be back soon 🙂

We are visiting from Palm Springs and picked Willi’s on a whim, looking for a spot to have a snack and a glass of wine before dinner. This place is a wonderful gem. The staff we are super friendly, great wine and cocktails. The menu had a nice selection of small plates to share. If we lived in this neighborhood it would definitely be our go to spot. Really nice!. Well be back for dinner!

We were really looking forward to a meal here and were really disappointed. Service was fine. Ambience was fine. The food was mostly not great. The spicy shrimp were really good. The Brussels sprouts didn’t work at all. They were soggy and there were too many disjointed flavors. The carrots were too sweet. The lamb was fine but paired with a cold couscous was strange separately they were fine. We love other Stark restaurants and even ate lunch at Augie’s which was really good.

My 2nd time here and everything was incredible! I drove from Santa Cruz for their calamari alone, the marmalade sauce is spot on ! We enjoyed it so much along with oysters rockefeller, bacon wrapped scallop BLTs, the pork belly potstickers (the sauce was superb), bbq duck with polenta (didn’t care for the cheddar in polenta yet still tasty), filet mignon sliders-SPECTACULAR! Then the finale with crème brûlée-the perfect balance of sweet and richness ..multiple Chefs Kisses! As others have said, the wine selection is good. Looking forward to the next visit!
