Well, you serve it with scratch made sides and breads from the Caribbean Islands of Trinidad and Tobago. I was recommended this place by Michael from the ATI physical therapy clinic that is nearby, where I have been going after knee surgery. He said that the jerk chicken was really good. Since my wife and I stopped by Jamaica while on a cruise last year and tried the jerk chicken there at Scotchies, we wanted to see how it compared.

The jerk chicken here is life changing! The meat fell off the bones and it was juicy. I also loved the jerk chicken patty. I love the variety of sauces they offer. The Trinidad XXX sauce has a nice kick to it. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. This is a foodie paradise worth traveling to experience.

Wow! Caribbean infused Texas BBQ. Service was amazing, food portions were huge. The flavor was incredible. The Jerk Chicken with the BBQ Jerk sauce was my favorite new thing to try. The brisket, jalapeno sausage, and ribs were on point. Can’t recommend enough.

So dang good. The brisket was very tender and flavorful, better than the “local” bbq joints. I got the brisket sandwich and my mate got sliced brisket and jerk chicken. Loved the Trinidad bread that was used for the sandwich. Happy they had homemade chips. Will definitely be coming back. Please support this restaurant.

I always have to go out of town to find some really good bbq, however, that is no longer the case! We came in on a Saturday afternoon to check it out and ordered two plates with brisket, pulled pork, and chicken, as well as potato salad and mac & cheese. The lady at the register was very helpful guiding us through the menu and recommended the Kool-Aid to drink, which was so delicious! They had a cooler of beer and seltzers with a bucket for the beer fund next to it- so nice! They had a variety of sauces to choose from and they have an island where you can gather what you need. Everything was so good and nothing disappointed us- we had to take a to go box because the plates were so big! Friendly service and great food, we will be back!

Holy shizzle! It’s awesome. Spent a good number of years in Texas, and feel my grasp on what’s good, what’s so-so, and what’s not, is decent and fair. Tried the beef rib (lovely bark, strong pink smoked ring, and the meat fell off the rib as it was picked up – very moist too, delicious); also tried the lean and moist brisket (again, great flavor, coloring and bark, and even got a nice burnt end too), and even some jerk chicken came into play (which was something special too with the Caribbean flavor really on point). Had to try the mac n cheese, beans and potato salad as sides as well. No complaints at all. Very satisfying. Then add to that a nice clean space to enjoy it in, plenty of parking outside and wonderful family ownership and hospitality – I’m confident you’d enjoy the experience too.

I had a chance to meet 1/2 of the owners through my place of business. She recommended for me to try out the restraurant. They got so many different varieties of flavors, HANDS DOWN THE BEST OKRA I’ve ever had, and my jerk chicken legs/thigs were extra amazing. Those ” her mamas beans” are simply amazing as well. Loved this place, I iwll be back with my family. Thanks you guys. See you soon Ms.P

Amazing food. The jerk chicken & jerk BBQ sauce are phenomenal. The loaded baked potato is LOADED. Good prices too. The only thing I’m upset about is that they’re so close to my house, which will be bad for my waistband
