Everything was wonderful. The service was it 10 out of 10 but the barbecue didn’t really have a flavor and was pretty dry so I was shocked at that the brisket was kind of dry had like a rubber taste to it

Solid BBQ, ton of food for the price. Had the combo pick 2 Ribs and brisket beans and toast. Smoke ring on the ribs was strong, maybe a touch too much and the meat was falling off the bone. Brisket was the flat and very tender, could have used a bit more bark. Tried all the sauces and all were good. I settled on the Sweet Hot. Beans were good and ended up with enough leftovers for another meal

My wife and I had a terrific lunch here recently. The place was super clean and the staff was awesome. The barbecue brisket nachos and lunch brisket with macaroni and cheese, baked bean sides, and Texas toast were all delicious. They have lots of other things, too! We had sweet tea because it was lunch time, but they have a collection of beers and such as well. Definitely give this place a try – we’re certainly going to return soon!

Excellent BBQ. They do it right, dry rub with hickory. Everything is fall off the bone tender, and the sausage is excellent. Multiple different BBQ sauces for the the yankees to choose from. They just opened a new room with beer on tap. And don’t skip on the dessert.

By far my favorite BBQ in the area. I have visited several times around lunch and used the takeout for dinner as well. All the ladies helping and tending the bar always make you feel valued and important. Engaging and fun to chat with. Their home made potato salad is quite delicious. Prices are more than fair and the atmosphere is fun.

Awful. The only ones in the restaurant. Two of us ordered the nachos. Taste of like store-bought chips. The white queso sauce on each one of our nachos was ice cold. The third person ordered the pork sandwich and it was full of fat and had a bone in it. The parking lot was full of trash. Wow get it together Willie Mae’s. Bad first impression to a first-time customer.

We enjoy good BBQ, especially brisket. The had a nice smoky flavor with a nice bark on it. We also had the smoke sausage. For sides, we had coleslaw, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, and baked beans. The cornbread was a little dry. The brisket was worth the trip to Springfield.

Just got home after another great dinner at Willie Mae’s. Always a fantastic experience. The food is always delicious and the staff is always the best. It was great to see Brandon back in the kitchen. He always speaks and calls me by name when he sees me. It always a good experience when the staff treats you like family.

We ordered a full rack of ribs and sausage. The ribs tasted like it was made with liquid smoke because there was bitterness and toughness to the meat. It was kind of disappointing. My mother an sister hated it so much so I ate it all by myself. I was hungry so I ate it because i paid $40+. The service was impeccable and everything was clean though.
