My wife and I had been curious about this place so we stopped in to try it. I had the Bo Hog which is pulled pork, American cheese and halved sausage on a bun and it comes with 1 side. The baked beans I chose as a side were pretty good. The sandwich had a nice slightly smoky flavor then I tried each of the hot sauces on it. One of the sauces in my baked beans and one on the sandwich. Both we’re very good and had a slightly higher cayenne kick than i usually see at restaurants which I really enjoyed. The sweet sauce wasn’t overly sweet. Overall a clean comfortable place to eat in. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stopped in because of a buy-one-get-one free pulled pork sandwich offer… but it ended up being So Much More! Our server, Kayla, greeted us at the door. She also brought menu’s and immediately got our drink order! Left us to make up our minds and returned shortly to get our order. We got the “special offer” but added the Brunswick Stewart, baked beans, and fries. I also decided to try the Okra and the Barnyard Burger!! All of it was GREAT!!! Be back Very Soon!!!

We ordered online and picked up in the drive through. Had to wait 7-10 minutes even though our pick up time had passed. Nobody eating inside, based on the amount of cars in the parking lot, and nobody in the drive through. People were pleasant. Got home and unpacked. Missing a peach cobbler. Wanted to eat and decided not to call back for it. Started with the shared onion rings- these were the best thick cut deeply breaded onion rings I have ever had. Crisp and hot and very tasty. In hindsight, these were the best part of the meal.

I got the 3 meat meal, smoked sausage, smoked Turkey, and brisket with a side of greens and an extra side of green beans. Smoked sausage was good, casing was very tough, could not rip it or bite it in two- so just ate around it. Flavor was good, somewhat bland, and not very smoky. The other reviews on the smoked Turkey said it seemed like a compressed loaf type product, but I decided to try it anyway- and nope- it was very processed type of product. No smoke flavor at all, no meat grain, pretty mushy. I did not finish it. The brisket was lean with some fat cap which is to be expected. The first slice was cut about a quarter of an inch thick, and pretty tough. The next 2 slices were thinner and somewhat easier to chew. Not a strong flavor, some smoke flavor- but not much. The sides were fairly good- the greens were good, slightly sweet, and not greasy (plus!). The green beans had chunks of diced potato in them. Good flavor on the green beans.

My dining partner’s meal was smoked Turkey (same as mine- same opinion from DP) pulled pork, and ribs. The ribs were tender and fell off the bone. There was some fat, but to be expected. The pulled pork was not sauced and was lite on flavor. The Mac and cheese was “pretty good”, but chick fil a’s is much better. On both meals the Texas toast was a dried out slice of bread with a spritz of plain butter.

Overall- a so-so dinner for 45$- I wonder if they actually smoke their food?? Being a BBQ restaurant, one would assume, but if they do, it was not apparent in the taste. We just moved to the area and will try other options in the area before we return to this restaurant.

The location is easily accessible from Ulmerton. The parking lot is well-lit and ample. The store is very clean and the customer service is great. We ordered the Texas platter. The garlic toast was dunked in butter. The brisket was poorly smoked. It tasted as if it was smoked at a CIGAR BAR. The amount of food was barely enough for one (1) person. There were four small slices of brisket and three small slices of turkey. The turkey was tasteless. The fries were cold. The onion rings were tasty.
Well, my cats and dogs ate it.
I would not recommend this place.

Menu is pretty straightforward and lots of meats and sides to pick from. We got a variety and were pleased with everything. Beef brisket was nice and tender, ribs were really nice flavored, chicken was really juicy and well seasoned. Collard greens, fried corn, and mac and cheese were good portions and tasty additions. Grape juice lemonade is delicious!

First time visit to this location, seemingly on day 2 of the business opening.

Thursday 21 March 2019, lunch time.

An over abundance of staff is present to ensure a successful business launch . Almost too much but I get it. Every one was cheerful and helpful.

I had a coupon for $5 off $20 for the Seminole location but they accepted it here.

They also have a military discount if you have a valid military ID if you don’t have a coupon. The coupon saved more in my case.

Ordered two beef brisket plates with two sides and two sweet teas. We ate in the restaurant.

The BBQ sauce is heated. Located in the back. The clearance between the little plastic cup and the counter is low so becareful to not dump your sauce by hitting the sauce dispenser nozzle. My preference is the sweet sassy sauce. The area for sauces is under designed as it really only accommodates one person At a time

While we were eating one of the staff members reached across both of our meal plates to shake our drinks to determine if refill was needed. I did not like this as I have people reaching across my food. The intent was well meant so I let it slide this time.

The bathrooms are under designed too. One person occupancy for the men’s room. The toilet paper dispenser is low and it’s necessary to feel around to find the paper, blindly.

Overall I enjoyed my visit and will be back. The food on the plate is plenty and the brisket was not Fatty. I don’t know if anyone eats the Texas toast. It’s not needed with the size of the portions of brisket and sides.

They have a drive through window also which is Handy.

This place is banging. Wish I had knew about it sooner. The family took me to get some BarBQ today for father’s day. They know I love it but can’t eat it often enough. The food is delicious. Even had a lil mix up I wanted cornbread they thought I said corn fritters and I’m glad we had the mix up. The fritters were great and they still gave me cornbread. If your looking for a fix on some BarBQ you have got to hit this place it’s a must. Tell em Q sent you.Good thing it’s next to an urgent care cause you might slap the person next to you when you taste it. No joke.

This location on ulmerton has a drive-thru service which is so super convenient without taking away from their exceptional service. The young lady at the drive-thru window was all smiles and even went the extra mile to ask if I wanted any sauce with my order. Their pulled pork sandwich was phenomenal jam-packed with juicy delicious flavor. The bread was super soft and there was so much meat in this sandwich. It was so satisfying.

I got the beef sandwich (lean) with bbq baked beans. All of it delicious. Meat had the perfect smoked taste. I tried 4 of the sauce options all tasty, just the right amount of spicy. Sweet smoke option good too for those who don’t like it spicy. I’ll be back!!

Great Food Alert! I chose the 2 meat platter with 1 side for $10.99. For the meats…Brisket and pulled pork. The side was fried corn. Brisket was nice portion and very tender…same with the pulled pork. My favorite of the 2 was the brisket. You have a choice of 4 BBQ sauces…Then I sampled the fried corn….deep fried just enough to give it a slight carmel taste and drizzled with perfect amount of garlic butter….yum! The server told me to check the newspaper for coupons they offer. 5 Stars from my taste buds.
