Williams Confectionery Crafts, Old Fashioned Baked Goods. Found this family restaurant located on the far NE side of town, and am glad I did. First time visiting, had the chicken fried steak with the homemade Mac and cheese and buttered corn. Chicken fried steak was homemade and delicious. Mac and cheese was flavorful as well as the corn. It came with a homemade roll which brought back memories of elementary school cafeteria rolls, which I liked. The staff was prompt, courteous and very friendly. Ms Williams made the rounds greeting customers. I’ll need to come back for breakfast pancakes and waffles as well as their fried pork chops. Well worth the trip.

A true gem in the San Antonio area. My wife and I decided to stop by today because I saw their extensive dessert menu and wanted to give it a try. Be warned, desserts are on a rotational basis, so if looking for a particular item, so it’s either best to call ahead, be slightly disappointed as I was that there was no banana pudding, or give another option a try. (Which I did).

Williams is the real deal. Great family history and everything we’ve eaten there is great. We love going in for a visit to grab a bite to eat and pick up a bakery item. It’s a casual diner feel for a home cooked style meal. The pan fried chicken is legit! Support Live Oak family businesses!!!

Fried pork chop (not on menu), Avocado toast with eggs and bacon, Biscuits and gravy with sausage. All delicious. The wait was definitely worth it!!! Waitress and owner (Joyce) were very friendly. Joyce is killin it from scratch.

I ordered the chicken fried steak with fries and pinto beans. The food was delicious! The restaurant has a very comfortable, home-cooking atmosphere. I would have expected to pay much more, but it actually costs about the same as a fast food combo with much better quality. My son ordered a piece of carrot cake as we were leaving and loved it. I’m glad we found this place and plan to bring family here when they visit.

Get over here!! Such delicious food at incredible values! 2 eggs/2 large bacon/creamy grits/huge biscuit- $5.50 not kidding! $6 for 2 thick delicious pancakes. And they have a self-serve coffee area, lunch, a bakery full of all the pies you love. I’ll be here every week – no joke! – check my photos

My first time there and I Loved it! As soon as my Mom and I went in I felt such a heart warming feeling. The place looks amazing, clean environment. The food is delicious, I wanted a raspa with ice cream. I was disappointed when she said the machine was a decoration. That wouldn’t be a problem but it shouldn’t be on the menu. The people are very Friendly and Professional.

I should’ve wrote this 2 years ago…I was in San Antonio for business in March of 2020. My colleague and I were there for a week and found this home style, hug ya ribs, comfort food GEM on the evening of our first day in town…that was our go to spot for the remainder of the stay! The food was definitely cooked and baked with love! The fresh baked cinnamon rolls had me at hello!! Ms. Williams, I’ve been telling everyone at Randolph AFB about your food for the last 2 years!! Your food ma’am, is that memorable!! I hope to get down there again soon
