Had lunch here with my Mom. They have excellent HOMEMADE food here. I had the bacon double cheeseburger and my Mom had a salad with Chocolate Milkshake, both were very good. The service was very prompt, polite and thorough.
This is a great small-town Michigan Cafe, obvious the locals have been enjoying this place for years.
Mixed emotions of the interior… on one hand, it needs some updating, but on the other, I’m afraid it would lose some of it’s small town appeal – if asked, I would vote for any interior updates be minimized to maintain the feel of this local treasure.
100% I’ll be returning, it was a very enjoyable stop.

Only gave it 5 because 6 was not an option! Everything was perfect!! Proces reasonable. Service excellent. Food was delicious. Quantity of food was more than enough! Can’t wait to go back!!!

I ordered the cod then realized they had bluegill, darn! I ate the GREAT cod. Then asked about the bluegills since they are my favorite. They brought me out some to try! They are the best i have ever had in a restaurant!

Wait staff and food excellent. Even with a staffing shortage shortening their hours open, Easton our waiter and the kitchen cooks provided excellence.
