Wonderful food and atmosphere, however our server Pancho must have been new. We were there around 3 p.m. on a Friday and there were only people at two other tables and a few people at the bar. After we ordered, we had to check and see where our food was 40 minutes later. He was not attentive and almost never checked on us. We found that disturbing since the restaurant was practically empty. We were celebrating an event and the person being celebrated was upset. They had been there many times & had excellent service before. We DID receive a significant deduction on our bill given by management, which was much appreciated. Again, the food & atmosphere were top notch! The pictures show Filet Mignon & Pork Chop. I did not get pictures of the sides that came with the pork chop as they were served much later.

Friendly attentive staff and the meal was very good. We had their BARREL AGED MANHATTAN, top shelf ingredients, well made, awesome Manhattan! Get the BUTTER CAKE for dessert, it was super delicious! Only downside the music was a little loud by the bar area, but we were still able to converse.

I so badly wish to be able to give this restaurant five stars, but my food needed seasoning. I ordered the scallop risotto, and the texture was great, however, it was tasteless when I ate beyond the scallop medallions. Beyond this, I loved my drink, the appetizers, the service and the environment. My all-time favorite appetizer, and probably the best thing I’ve eaten in a while were the fries!

To be fair, we had brunch, and it was their first time serving it, so they were not as prepared as they might be. The servers were friendly but seemed inexperienced, and the food was hit and miss. Hopefully they work out the kinks. It’s a nice to eat outside on the patio.

The wife wanted to take me out for a birthday dinner and since this place recently opened up in town I decided to give it a shot. The restaurant is conveniently located right next to the parking structure downtown so you should easily be able to park nearby and walk to it.

Unfortunately, I picked this restaurant for my night out with my husband. We have four kids and I wanted our night to be special and to reconnect. When we got there, the host couldn’t find me and asked my name three times. I had to show her the reservation on my phone. We sat down and ordered drinks. When the waitress finally took our order we were still excited. We started noticing how people that arrived after us were getting their entrees and we hadn’t even received our appetizer. They waitress came back 40 minutes after we sat down to let us know that somehow they lost our ticket and that she had to put in our order again and it would be out soon. An hour after arriving, after the restaurant was already closed, our food came out. I asked the waitress about our appetizer and she said she had forgotten to order it for us. She asked if I wanted it and I said no it was fine, this was well past 10pm. She ended up bringing our starter when I went to the restroom. Our date night was ruined and we ended up leaving at 1050pm without finishing our food as we felt pressured to go since we were the last people in there. The food and drinks were good but I wish we had more time to enjoy it. We packed up our half eaten food and left.

If there was a option to give more then five stars, I would have. Beautiful atmosphere and great service. Ordered the Scallop Risotto, best I’ve ever had. Also had a bite of the Fillet Minion, so tender I was able to cut it with a butter knife. Will be back again.

Went there for lunch with a couple of friends on a Tuesday. I am not a big carb eater so reviewing the menu I saw Aji poki that looked pretty good. I read the ingredients very carefully and nowhere. Did it say rice as part of the ingredients? When the bowl came it did have rice in the bowl and at that time I questioned them and they asked if I wanted something else.I thought about it for a minute and decided well. The food is already here. I’ll go ahead and eat it. I saw what appeared to be a fairly large amount of Poke at one side of the bowl so I thought I would just eat that along with the avocado cherry tomato things like that. I didn’t realize as I started to eat the pokey that there was only a little pokey on top and 80% of the bowl was rice. I question the waiter/manager for the shift and asked him to bring the menu over we carefully reviewed the ingredients for the pokey and no where did it say rice Was part of the dish. He told me that since it’s a bowl I should expect rice to be in it. I said I’ve had poke at other places and they give you a choice of mix, lettuce, or rice, and since there was no rice in the ingredients. I figured I’d get a little bit more pokey instead But unfortunately 80% of the bowl with rice. He argued with me and insisted that I should’ve known since I was getting a Poké bowl. He had a nonsensical argument, so I just gave up and said we’ll have to agree to disagree. Unfortunately, that young waiter manager doesn’t realize that the three of us will tell 10 people each and everybody will know not to go to Willad Hicks for food. he did charge us the full amount. We had two pokey bowls, sticky chicken, Coca-Cola, ice tea and a beer $97. We gave him 115 so he received a tip as well but we’ll never go back.
