We used google to search for a nearby place for lunch and it took us to this place.
Tbh, we had never been such a strange setting restaurant as this one, it’s hard to explain by words 🙂
Beside the 3 booths, we saw a few round tables placed here and there, so we guessed they are for groups of local ppl who come to play come certain games or tournaments ?!
The service was good, one person as cashier and server and one lady cook in the kitchen.
Food came out hot, perfect French fried, the burger and sandwich were at standard, not good nor bad..
It’s good enough for a stopped over for quick lunch.

Good food, but we had a bizarre experience with a male server. He gave us the menu and then actually pulled up a chair and sat at the table with us while we were trying to decide what to eat, complaining that his “feet are tired”.
Later, while we were still eating, he brought the check and said he’d be right back for it. After we finished, we waited 20 minutes for him to return. Since he never came back, we left the money on the table and started to leave, only to be shouted at with: “SIR, ARE YOU NOT GOING TO PAY?!”
The owners really need to better vet or train their staff.

I’ve seen mixed reviews of this business on Facebook and being a gates county resident, I decided to try it. So I came in today and let’s say I was more than impressed. I walked in to a clean and welcoming environment. The music was tasteful, everything was clean and neat. The building is older but well maintained. Food may be seen as pricey to some but what isn’t in this economy. However, it tasted great! The wait time was a little longer than I expected/liked but they were working very hard and multitasking (answering phones/taking orders) so I can’t hold that against them. Even if everything else wasn’t up to par, the customer service alone would be enough for me to come back! Good customer service is hard to find. Not only was I serviced well, but the interactions with other customers were just as awesome. I’d highly recommend here!

What happened? Their pizza used to be amazing, but lately it’s been all over the place. My past few times it was undercooked and doughy, and my most recent visit the pizza was so thin and hard it felt like cardboard. I literally threw it all away. I don’t know if they changed cooks or recipes, but the quality is no longer consistent. So disappointed. 5-Star Pizza to 1-Star Pizza

I have given this place so many changes because it’s small business in a small town but the owner is just awful, he does not respect their employees and costumers. I went there to have a good time with friends to play card games and he was just being rude asking non sense questions. They need to learn how to be more respectful. Employees are very nice and doing their best.

Great place to play BINGO every Monday night. Every other Monday it’s Tupperware Bingo. Their French fries are awesome! Pizza is good too!

Stopped in today to grab something for dinner after a paddle up Bennets Creek.
The menu has a good variety of items. Everything we had was great! I had a Italian sub, my wife got a burger and fries. We shared a pepperoni pizza. Our food was great, the fries were perfect! We would have taken pictures of all of our food if we didn’t devour it so fast.
They have a selection of demo board games to play.
There are Star Wars, table top gaming supplies, board games and magic the gathering items for sale as well.
We plan to stop in more often.

Weekly live music, board games, and a really community center in addition to being a delightfully tasty cafe. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cheesy garlic bread is a must-have appetizer for me!
