I highly recommend the chicken sandwich. 10/10. Drinks were also good. A friend got a glass of wine and it came out in an odd cup but still tasted good. Went on a Friday night so our server was all over the place. Gets very loud past 9pm

The fries are good. The drinks were fine. I like that they have bag hooks. It was a lively crowd when we came on a Monday evening around 5:30pm. The bartender was rude. I’ve been twice now and not been impressed with the service whatsoever. At one point, I said excuse me, kindly, to get the bartender Derek’s attention, and he literally stuck his finger out to tell me to hold on and said “I’m busy.” With an attitude. It really annoyed me and felt super dismissive. I understand being busy and stressed but there was no reason to take that out on me. He could have handled it differently.

First review:

Slightly uncomfortable seating, nice waitress last night around 5pm, the bartenders aren’t particularly friendly or hospitable, as in, they barely said hello to me when I sat down and hardly looked at me when we placed our order. Not rude, but definitely room for improvement. The food and drinks were fine and the atmosphere is lively. Cute place for sure.

We loved popping in here for a drink before dinner. The rustic interior inside is great and our cocktails were fantastic! Our bartender was also extremely friendly. All around a great experience, enjoyed the open windows and doors and would love to come back.

I ordered a gin & tonic, and had many of my friends try it and it was definitely not tonic water, we believe it was club soda. Told the bartender and he said the tonic is working fine used a straw and thumb to take not even a sip and said it’s tonic water… super rude interaction

As a gin and tonic lover, this was not tonic water and if it was that is really suspicious because it must be cheap.

Did not drink the drink and left. Will not come back

I came here for a solo lunch during the late afternoon on a Sunday. Seating was super easy. I began at the bar but moved to a table with “people-watching” views. My server was very attentive to my needs and came back to check in often. I didn’t order a drink but the Brussel sprouts and burger are meals I’d definitely order again.

Steak sandwich was perfectly cooked. It is more of a friends or family gathering kind of atmosphere than just a bar. Server was inattentive, other than that everything was great

Fun small spot with a good cocktail selection in the West Village. I tried the Firm Handshake, Cucumber Gimlet, hot spiked cider, and orange gold. I would not recommend the hot spiked cider because it wasn’t that balanced but everything else was delicious depending on your liquor of preference. The orange gold was pleasant-better than expected and very smooth but not too sweet. People liked the winter chill, which is very mezcal forward. There is Macallan 10 and 12 here but not 15. The crowd skews younger.

Cozy spot for some excellent beer and a phenomenal burger. The beer selection was great and we were able to try a few. We went in without any expectations but left with a new go to spot in the west village.

Friendly neighborhood bar in the West Village.

We’ve had wings, fries and tried the burger too, all really good. This, together with a great wine and beer selection and an eclectic 80’s soundtrack make this a bar we return to time and again.

Recommended by another neighborhood bartender. Couldn’t have found a more perfect place to spend a few hours in the afternoon. Devon was fantastic behind the bar. Made us feel like we were at our home bar in Hartford. Will definitely be back the next time we’re in the city.
