Wildwood Tavern is an eclectic pub in downtown Florence, Alabama. All natural beef hot dogs, locally sourced bratwurst, unique sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, seasonal microbrews, and craft cocktails all paired with a hand selected jukebox, pinball, shuffleboard table, skeeball, outdoor patio, good conversation, and smiling faces. We serve a quick, affordable lunch and grab a lunch club card so that your 7th meal is free. Happy hour is from 3-6pm everyday and features half off craft beer and signature cocktails. This time my journey has lead me through Mussel Shoals and Florence Alabama. Stopped here from a random choice looking for something different. As far as different???
Pallets on the ceiling and blocked out faces of people in familiar photos. Having been my first time and it was a holiday weekend on a Sunday, I might of liked it more??

What a great place! Not a big place but they make up in quality. The food is great and service has been wonderful. Not so fancy that you have to hold your pinky out while drinking. All ages so not just a college hangout.

We had a lovely and inexpensive meal this evening, starting with a warm welcome by the bartender as we lucked out to get the other booth when we arrived.
Drinks were ordered and it was nice to see non-alcoholic beers on offer. We got one of those and one local draft.
For dinner, Mrs. K. selected the veggiewich and I chose a Dapper Dog. Real pub grub stuff here and it was fabulous. My “loaded” chips included cheese and banana peppers. It was all delicious and a special credit for an actual crunchy pickle!
We had a nice time and I can see a return in the future!

Best bar in town. I’m not one for drinking, but this bar has great food, mixed drinks, and the best atmosphere. They’ve got a little game room you should check out when you go in. It isn’t nearly as packed as some of the other bars which is better for service time and just generally a more comfortable experience.
