The tall dark and handsome waiter served us pulled pork smothered in barbecue sauce. The hot ham and cheese sandwich had real ham on it. The atmosphere was so comfortable and the food was so good, I felt like that I was back at my grandmother’s house eating with family. I recommend Wildwood Smokehouse to everyone in the area.

I don’t know if this place understands how to cook good BBQ.
Giving it 1 star because the wings were actually solid. The blue cheese was terrible.

Ordered an appetizer and the two-meat combo as my entree.
The entree came first.
The waitress came over but gave a half-hearted apology for the misstep. not to mention i still hadn’t received my drink, which she brought over after the mistake.

Food was terrible. DRIED brisket, who ON EARTH serves DRIED Brisket?!?! Very bland food as the meat had NO seasoning whatsoever. The pulled pork was also very bland.

The green beans were fine, the ‘BBQ Beans’ were not BBQ-anything. overly sugared and hard to eat.

The BBQ Sauce was THE WORST! It was a mustard based sauce with ‘some’ bbq in it. and it was really pasty, not like a normal bbq sauce that’s sweet & tangy, or Spicy & bold.

I travel for work every bbq place i’ve been to the Mustard-based sauce is barely touched and I wasn’t offered any other sauces. so i’m not even sure if they have one.

at the end, i was charged for everything, terrible service, terrible food, and not even a sincere apology. Then i was provided a sad excuse that they were handling a huge mobile order and so they were short-staffed. I wasn’t buying it.

Do not bother going here. it’s not worth it. shame too cuz the location is nice.

I’m sitting here at my desk eating this BBQ brisket with BBQ sauce. My God is it delicious. I don’t even like BBQ! I haven’t been to the restaurant so I’m not sure what the atmosphere or service is like, but I will be eating this again! Plate has been cleaned.

I normally don’t write reviews but had to in the is case due to the service. The food is solid – we had pulled pork sandwiches and the hush puppies, but I was disappointed when I found an item missing from our order. I almost let the matter go but decided to call. So glad I did! The girl who originally took my order got her manager on, who not only offered me a replacement no questions asked, but went so far as offering to BRINGING IT TO ME!! I told him I was nearby and that wasn’t necessary—that I was close and happy to come back. The staff recognized me when I returned, had my replacement ready with their sincerest apologies, hoping we will come back. We absolutely will!

This is the kind of service you only read about in management books these days. These guys really care about their customers. Go for the food, but stay for the great hospitality!

Wildwood is a favorite. I typically have lunch there one a week or once every other week. The food is great and always consistent. One of the few regular restaurants remaining. (Not a franchise.)

This is my go-to for a meal I know will be consistently good! Plenty of menu choices so even picky eaters can find something. Potato wedges and boneless wings are fantastic, as are the taco salad and chili.

A lovely gem of a place serving authentic southern BBQ. The food is top tier and greatly priced. I had the porker combo and split it with a friend. For $35, it is a perfect sampler platter to try.

We have gone to this restaurant for years, and the waitresses are exceptional! The food has been hit or miss at times, but we were approached by the manager today to inform us if the hamburger steak was not cooked to my liking (medium, pink center) that they would not be making another one. I do not like barbecue, and this restaurant has the best hamburger steak. Just sometimes, they totally overcook it and make me a new one which I feel they should since the Chef didn’t grill it correctly. Of course, today, it came out totally blackened on the outside, and well done on the inside. Needless to say, I did not send it back. We will not be returning. Makes me sad because we have always loved it there. I feel the manager was totally not looking out for the customers

First time visiting this establishment. My wife ordered the pork barbecue lunch menu, I ordered the brisket lunch menu. She thoroughly enjoyed her meal but in all honestly I didn’t care for the brisket. I don’t think it had very much smoke flavor, I guess I’m used to Texas style brisket . And it was a very small portion at that.
