We visit here often and it’s always a good experience. Food is good, service is friendly and quick, and lovely ambience and atmosphere.

We visited for an early dinner on a Friday and the restaurant soon filled up around 7pm. We had Focaccia with oil and balsamic, followed by carbonara and cobb salad. And then Tiramisu and salted caramel profiteroles for pudding. It was all delicious, the Tiramisu could have been a little more boozy though.

I’ve dropped 1 star on two of the categories.

Food – the cost of a portion of fries is £4.95 (£5.35 for sweet potato option) which seems excessive. For example, if you’re ordering a steak for £21, you then have to pay a further £4.95 for a portion of fries which is not is not huge – I think the price could be improved for this and other such dishes that don’t come with an accompaniment, eg the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and the half chicken peri peri.

Atmosphere – great, but as I’ve mentioned in previous reviews, the 2 doors to enter the restaurant are really heavy and have some weird suction of air that happens every time someone enters or leaves the restaurant, which leaves me popping my ears like on an aeroplane which is bearable but a bit annoying.

Takeaways are also available and there are good offers to be had on both takeaway and eat in options. We had 50% off our food on this visit (eating in) and have had the same from takeaways in January which is a great saving. Definitely recommend and we will be going back again soon.

Really enjoyed my recent visit! The food was spot on, especially the buttermilk chicken burger and tiramisu—truly delicious. The service was top-notch; the team was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was nice but quiet, as it was lunch time. Only reason I didn’t score it a 5. Overall, a lovely experience and we will definitely be back for more! Unfortunately, we don’t have a local Wildwood in our city, or we would be becoming regulars!
Have already recommended it to family, who enjoyed it so much, we have bought them a gift voucher. They do live locally & planned to return, so the voucher makes a thoughtful gift.

I came in and wondered a bit until someone asked me if I want a table, then they greeted me and took me to a table hidden around the corner saying that their night is fully booked(which didn’t seem like it as I have finished two meals and the place was still relatively empty). Music – a mix of old and new comercial pop, which didn’t really create a specific atmosphere. I sat down and ordered a Calamari starter and a Chicken and chorizo risotto accompanied by a medium Shiraz wine. Loved the Calamari. The risotto was more al dente and was leaving behind oil, also it wasn’t creamy as I’ve experienced in other Italian restaurants and it was a bit hard to eat. I have been asked if I want cheese on it and the waitress girl came from the kitchen with the cheese in her bare hand, grated me some cheese until I signed to stop and then she left as in a hurry to serve other people, making a trace of cheese on the table as she flew away. The service was ok, though somehow preferential to other people, as if being alone wasn’t really making me worthy as a customer while I observed she and her colleague was asking customers if the food is alright, so no consistency in service. Overall, a medium rating for a medium to low service but hopefully this review will change something.

Very welcoming hostess, relaxed atmosphere, and quite a few vegan options. We both had the vegan lasagne, and it was delicious.

Nice restaurant setting with comfortable seating areas. Food was good quality. I had a steak and cheese sourdough sandwich with chips, and the other dish was a pasta dish with a red sauce and salad ( I can’t remember its name )
Along with a Tiramasu espresso martini and a fruit punch mocktail. ( Not 100% sure of that’s its name )
Staff were well mannered and friendly.
Didn’t have to wait too long for drinks and food to be served. But I feel if it was busy, you’d be waiting maybe a little longer than you’d want.
The cocktail and mocktail were very nice and I’d have again. Along with the food good decent quality.
But…… unfortunately, I dont feel they offer value for money. For the quality and quantity of the food, the price point was a tad too high.
For 2 drinks and 2 mains it was a few pence short of £50 ( This included a 10% service charge. )
For example it’s about about £5 for a side of chips with your main. ( large handful at best.) I’d expect for that for the chips to be included in the price.
Also, upon ordering we had to wait for cesar sald dressing for one main and I had ordered sweet potato fries as my side and was given normal chips.
I did point this out and they apologised and gave a small discount but also offered to do the sweet potato still. ( I declined because I’d only have to wait for them to be cooked and was already eating )
Waiting to ask and Pay for he bill took a little long than I wanted so I had to take myself to to bar and ask someone to take my money. ( Personal annoyance. Once you’ve eaten, you just want to go )
Overall, a decent experience and price point is far too high for what they offer for me to return.
I must point out they do have offers on before 5pm that I think is about 20% less in price… so based on that maybe I’d pop back for a bite.

I met friends for a meal and was very impressed! The food was delicious especially the Classic Lasagne and Grilled Courgette & Goat’s Cheese pizzetta. The service was flawless; the team made us feel welcome and checked in without being intrusive. Plus, the whole place had a lovely atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back for another visit.

The best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. The goat’s cheese and courgette topping was very nice. Speedy home delivery too.
Didn’t score atmosphere as didn’t eat in.

I had a lovely time celebrating the festive season here! The service was spot on—warm greetings and prompt bill delivery made for a great experience. I enjoyed my festive specials, though I wish the steak had been cooked a bit rarer to hit that 5-star mark. The atmosphere was just right, making it feel extra special. Overall, a solid place for a meal, and I’ll definitely be back!
