I visited Wildflowers restaurant for a Thanksgiving buffet and it was exceptional.

The upscale, but not stuffy atmosphere, was just what I wanted.
Soup, salad, fresh fruit, chilled shrimp to start.
Then I visited the carving station with roast pork loin, leg of lamb and of course roast turkey.
I sampled several traditional side dishes, as well. I was not disappointed.
There was a very tempting dessert display (I did not indulge)
The staff were super friendly and attentive.

I will be returning to sample the restaurant’s daily menu.

Asked when called for reservations for dining room for Mother’s Day. Arrived, hostess said oh you’re in Bistro. Stated we asked a month ago for dining room. She sat us in Bistro. Well, it was nice and quiet but for only two of us we like dining room and music. Servers were merely attentive. My husband had to go to bar to get us more water.
21 percent tip on bill for two people was out of order for servers who aren’t serving but at times clearing plates. Just our observation. Let manager know-she was not amicable about it. Not happy as we used to dine there all of holidays.

Food was great. Patti is super nice and attentive. Cobb salad had great balance of toppings, juicy chicken, and more than enough dressing on the side.

This place has a restaurant that closes pretty early that does breakfast and lunch and a bistro in the back that serves food late. I’ve eaten at both and both have pretty decent food. The service was fast and friendly even though it was very busy. The food in the bistro is very fresh and there are great options for people who choose to go meatless.

Our household had a great experience dining in an igloo (outdoor dome) for my birthday. The pecan and s’mores martinis were delicious and so was our food (especially the crab cakes, French onion soup and Buffalo chicken flatbread). Stephanie, our server, did a great job! It was a comfortable and safe dining experience and we will definitely be back again this winter!

What a pleasant surprise. I live in hotels for my job, and once in a while I get lucky. Today was a very stressful day driving and working at sites on Long Island. Getting to the Holiday Inn here in Wilkes-Barre was a relief, and the in-house bistro, Wildflowers was highly recommended at the front desk. I promptly ordered the filet with broccoli and garlic mashed. It was served perfectly medium rare, and and cuts like butter. I love the filet as evey bite is lean and clean. The sauce and spices the chef uses are excellent. The sides were also steamed and mashed with attention to their detail. The Susquehanna lager complements the meal. I was asked “What else can I get for you Sir?” Well, actually Sir would love to hear what is available for dessert. I stopped her at the lemon raspberry cheesecake. Yes. That’s it. However, I’ll take it to go please. I have an excellent rum upstairs that will pair well with it. Yes, Wildflowers bistro is a lovely surprise for the weekend. Excellent service, superb filet, and quiet atmosphere. You should come dine here even if you’re not staying upstairs. This place is…

So let me say first off this place closes at 9 PM. And I just checked in the hotel at 8:50 but it’s the only food option without driving somewhere else. I had the fried chicken sandwich and french fries. actually very good and crispy. Chicken sandwich was OK. Could use some seasoning or maybe hot honey or something. small bar but that closes at nine and the TV shut off so for a hotel restaurant very disappointing. They close at 9 PM. Food has potential.

We went for the Easter Buffet and it was delicious We went around 3:00 pm so things were winding down. We sat in the back room, and the service was not good. We were given one glass of water to drink and my husband ordered a sprite and it never arrived until I asked the waiter for it. Our dishes piled up on the table and were not taken away. I was not happy with the service at all! Then they called my husband and told him that the credit card was not charged, so my husband sent her a screenshot showing that it was charged The atmosphere was comfortable but could have been better if the service was accompanied with it. We have been here several times over the years and had good experiences. The food was really very good and I cannot say anything negative about it. We enjoyed our meal but will find it hard to go back because of the lack of service and difficulties we had during our visit.
