The food was pretty good. We got two appetizers and two blackberry lemonades, the garlic prawns and the plate of three street tacos (one of each kind). Both were fantastic. Neither of us were overly hungry, so the starters were enough food to satisfy us.

Have dined here several times. Food is consistently good/excellent, service is outstanding, and atmosphere fun and festive. High five to Charlie, our waiter on Saturday, July 1. We made our patio dinner absolutely delightful! Highly recommend views from patio, homemade potato bread and catch of the day! One of the best restaurants in the area.

I like Wildfin American Grill, especially the one on Ruston Way in Tacoma, Washington. As soon as my wife and I walked into the restaurant the staff greeted us. I asked if there was a wait, but the young lady up front wasn’t sure. She asked the manager, who came over to tell her to check with another young lady at the front, and said, “She could tell you.” Both young ladies looked up the seating chart, and we got seated right away.

Tacos, fire! Salmon, fire! Fish & chips, fire! The shrimp dish is worth a try, I just didn’t like the bread. I feel like it would have been better served over rice. The flavor was there but the style of serving was a miss. There was a little bit of a wait which was expected because it is such a nice place to dine at and the food is delicious. The service was quick and timely. I would like to go again to try a few more dishes I wanted to try.

We usually order the calamari and the fish and chips when dining here. The calamari has a little kick to the sauce, and I love the fried jalapeño garnish that adds to the flavor. This is my absolute favorite at this restaurant. The fish and chips are always crispy and fresh. We tried the spring harvest salad for the first time, and it had tons of fresh and healthy ingredients with a vinaigrette dressing. The prawn and scallop scampi was a bit disappointing since it lacked flavor and was missing seasoning or salt. I had to ask them to remake it since I couldn’t eat it. The second dish was a lot better, however, the scallops and the asparagus that were supposedly part of the dish and on the menu were never to be found. The dish was different than the last time I ordered this. Otherwise, the atmosphere, location, and the view around the restaurant is wonderful. The service received was decent compared to how many tables the waitress was waiting.

I made a reservation here for 5:30pm Sat to meet four friends after a long absence. We left early because the parking lot was crowded on Saturdays. Point Ruston area is getting very popular.

This restaurant is located in a really beautiful area where you can choose to do alfresco dining facing the puget sound. The drinks elections are amazing, including the beer and cider options.

Food was incredible! Some of the best fig butter I have had and the risotto was delicious! Super busy night so it took some time for food to come around but it was worth the wait and the staff worked super hard to serve everyone.

Right on the water with great views. I had the baby back ribs with a ginger soy Asian sauce that was exceptional. The ribs were meaty, not fatty. Service was exceptional. Point Ruston has quite a few restaurants but this is one of the best. Highly recommended!
