We visited Wilder’s for the first time, and we were so happy that we did! The place was pretty empty but we were told we just missed the busy rush. Jessica, our waitress, was fantastic throughout our entire meal. She was friendly and attentive, and checked on us frequently.
Since there were college football games on when we got there, they had a wing special: 6 wings for $6 or 12 wings for $12. We obviously ordered some with honey BBQ, and they were delicious. We also ordered a gluten-free cauliflower crust pizza and a calzone. Wow, both were awesome! The pizza tasted just like a regular pizza – it was one of the best gluten-free crusts that we’ve ever had. The calzone was also done perfectly and stuffed with toppings. Overall, we were thrilled with our dining experience and have found our new go-to pizza place locally. Highly recommended!

Reminds me of shop back up north. Crispy crust and awesome sauce. A good vibe in the shop and great staff. Got today’s special of 2 speciality slice and a beer for $12.00. Worth the price.

I got a eggplant parm sub with a side salad. The sub was pretty good, a bit salty but I like more salt than most. The salad was super sad. Now, given I ask for no onions and mushrooms so maybe it’s normally and lovely onion and mushroom packed salad, but as it was, it just has tom! The lettuce was quite sad on its own too! I picked up so, I don’t have much to say as far as atmosphere, it’s definitely a hole in the wall kind of place. I did request to go napkins and whatnot and did not receive it, so maybe remind staff if you need that stuff.

This was my first visit here since the restaurant was transferred to Wilder’s from Rocco’s. Even though the owner and the restaurant staff was changed the quality of the food and service has not diminished.
This is one of a very few restaurants in Bradenton that sells both pizza and burgers on the menú.
During this visit my dinning companions ordered
Angel hair pasta with meat sauce, and a seafood entrée of shrimp Fra Diavvolo, and
my order was their steak & cheese sub. (Cheesesteak)
My Cheesesteak was a special order, the menú specifying onions, mushrooms and green peppers with American cheese. I requested only the steak and to use provolone cheese, which was happily accommodated. But the unexpected highpoint was the freshly in house baked roll. According to my dinner party companions their entrées were also prepared excellently.
While enjoying our meals I also inquired about thier pizza varieties. Upon entering the restaurant a display case containing daily available pizza slice choices. Thier Sicilian pizza made to order but single slices and other optional sizes are not available. (Ocasionally available on Thursday by the slice).
This will be the first of other returning visits to try other menu options, which seem worth trying in the future.

Awesome service, Jessica was great, the WINGS were fanastic, as was the pasta and pizza… happy to have found another local spot we can frequent. Lemon pepper are our favorite and these were hands down the best.

Year Three update, place is still banging and the best place for Pizza and Italian anywhere in Florida! Our server Jessica was awesome once again and the food is worth every penny!!
First time visiting and could not have been more impressed. We visit the area every summer and had been looking for a new pizza place when I saw the reviews for Wilder’s. They did not lie in their praise: the Garlic Knots were amazing, the pizza superb, and the three meals we tried were phenomenal even as leftovers heated up the next day at lunch. The Alfredo sauce definitely tastes homemade as do their other sauces and I haven’t had pizza that good since, well, since visiting Italy itself. The service was also on point and I can tell everyone there works hard to make Wilder’s a top notch establishment. My family has found our new regular pizza place when we come visit the area, and if you’re visiting as well, I can not recommend them any more than I already am. Hats off to you guys, and here’s to next year’s beach trip coming sooner than later so I can get some more of that delicious food!

We are in from out of town and we visit Florida often. We have never had good pizza in Florida, but decided to stop in for a slice. Wow! Haley the server is amazing! So friendly. We each ordered two slices and garlic knots. Everything was delicious! If you want good pizza in Florida, this is the place!!

Just got into town after an 8hr drive, everywhere was slammed, we must have tried 4 or 5 other places prior (calling as we are driving around).
The server immediately said she could get us in!
Table for 6ppl ready, she was on it!!!+
The entire experience was awesome, she was so attentive! Rare in this industry nowadays!
Food was awesome! We ordered a ton, literally, a ton of food! Everything amazing!
There were 2 ppl in the kitchen busting out all this delish food, rock n roll dudes!
