We chose to go here after seeing it had a rating of 4.8 stars.
Well I can tell you this. It is not even close to that.
The guy working there was very nice but he was by himself and it took forever to get the food.
We were not allowed to use the bathroom because he said it was out of order. I dont have to tell you how mad that makes woman after a long motorcycle ride.
Anyways, the food finally got to us.
The brisket was pretty good. It was tender and did have a decent flavor.
The ribs on the other hand were some of the toughest ribs I’ve ever tried to eat. They were not good at all.
The collard greens and the baked beans were also pretty good.
All in all, it was a neat little place to visit but I would not recommend driving out of your way to go there to eat.
If you want really good BBQ. Go to Jim’s Smokin Que. It was phenomenal and the service was excellent as well

My Girlfriend and I swung by for lunch while on a motorcycle ride. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful as we sat on the front stoop eating a huge portion of delicious ribs for a great price. I’d absolutely recommend this to everyone I know and we’ll be back soon. Thank you for a great experience Wild Cat.

This store is smack outside of Suches in the middle of nowhere off of 60. The staff is always friendly and they have plenty of tables inside and out so you can enjoy a meal with friends or family after a trail hike or ride wotj your motorcycle buddies. Their menu changed from last time I was in but they still have great burgers and amazing pulled pork (it’s very tender). There are no combo prices so if you buy a burger and a side, add the 3 bucks to your total plus a drink. That being said, this isn’t a McDonald’s in some crowded city… you have nothing but nature around you when you’re here so the pricing isn’t bad when you consider where you’re at and what you get (a lot of food). Their burgers are a half pound patty with great bread that doesn’t fall apart. The store also has a few things you can buy for personal use in case you need anything from a hike (pants, shirts, etc).
Great spot with fresh food and nice staff… that’s all I ever ask for and Wildcat delivers on all of that. Nicely done!
Edit:
Wildcat BBQ – Suches, GA
Wildcat BBQ was about to close, but Bobby (who’s run some great food spots in Suches before) took it over for the next year to see how it does. He’s got a great spot here and is already serving up some excellent BBQ.
I had the brisket sandwich, which was tender and flavorful, with sauces that really stand out. Paired it with an ice-cold Coke Zero for the perfect finish.
If you’re riding through Suches on Hwy 60, this is a must-stop. Great food, great people — be sure to say hi to Bobby when you visit!

The very best barbecue anywhere. Meat was smoked and full of flavor and still moist .. staff and owner are some of the best folks you will ever meet!! If traveling in North Georgia on highway 60 just 2 miles north of Two Wheels Lodge you will find the great restaurant on the left. A must stop by for a great meal!!!!

Me and my Boyfriend visited this BBQ place on our vacation and it was a 10/10 amazing. The guy upfront was so nice and respectful and the food was beyond amazing. Also a very reasonable price. Will be recommending and coming back soon.

My buddies and I stopped here on a long drive for lunch and a bathroom break and really enjoyed it! They got the brisket and bbq chicken and said it was delicious— I tried out the shrimp and grits, and was apparently the first person to eat it as it was new on the menu. Let me say that as an unbiased connoisseur of shrimp and grits wherever I travel, it was EXCELLENT! I highly recommend it! The fired okra and Mac and cheese were also fantastic. Large portion sizes and delicious food. The last person to leave a review was correct that the owner was really nice, but the food didn’t seem to take that long for us, and the bathroom was working just fine, so maybe they had a fluke experience? Anyways, I definitely plan to go back the next time I ride through!

Great food and service! Love how they renovated and salvaged an old building. It’s an old building, so the floors are uneven. The food was outstanding. We recommend the pulled pork, collard greens, fries and Brunswick stew. The chicken was good but the pulled pork was better. The burgers were big and nice. Friendly staff who gave great tips about local spots and trails. Definitely a must stop by if you’re in the area.

My wife and I love to stop in when we are in North Georgia. I ordered the smoked wings and my wife got the pork sandwich. Our food came out pretty quickly. Good food takes a minute to prepare, and we were glad we waited. The food was delicious! Will definitely come back again when we are in North Georgia.

Loved this place! Had the brisket & rib platter with a side of bbq beans. SO good. Also tried the wings, chopped chicken, and fried okra. Anything that you get here will not disappoint. I will definitely return!
