Business travel in this area, colleagues showed me this place for a quick lunch, was not expecting too much.
But you know what, I was totally amazed by the food here, I ordered half-chicken, with Kale and Sweet potatoes as sides, the chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, dip it with their House Salsa, definitely will come back here again for lunches.

Staff was a very friendly. The food was brought over in s timely manner and everything was delicious.
The chicken tings with kale salad and posole was fresh. Soup was nice and hot. The harvest salad was really good.
It has chicken, kale, quinoa, apples, sweet potato, dried cranberries, and goat cheese. The hibiscus/ strawberry agua fresca was refreshing.

This is my first time visiting this restaurant. The store was so clean, the staff were so kind, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back and I recommend this store.

Chicken Tacos Dorados 8.8/10 Fresh Tacos and the topping salad was fresh and added good flavor.
Mac Salad 8.4/10 Really refreshing
Charro Beans 7.6/10 Flavor was good, can’t really say what could make them better but not a bad option.
It was my first time eating here and I wasn’t even hungry and the food still hit. I can compare it to Cava version of grilled chicken maybe a bit higher.Overall the food was good and I will definitely be coming back more often to try the other food options. Prices are a bit higher but atleast I didn’t regret paying that much after finishing my food.

The food was so good, and I was so happy with the service I received. I showed up for a late dinner within 1 hour of them closing and I was still served with kindness. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend the chicken tacos, their salsa verde (it’s not spicy at all btw, but has great flavor), & their brussel sprouts. Oh! And their agua frescas are great too.

Very disappointing. Customer service was non existent, and no one was behind the register when we walked in. The food had a strange aftertaste and it was very bland. I ordered the tacos (pictured above) and received a sparse amount of overcooked chicken in fried tortillas with a bunch of garnishment sprinkled on the top. The chicken was old, dry, and not fresh. My mother didn’t even finish hers as she began feeling ill after a couple of bites, and I ended upstomach sick after eating my meal. This was our first experience with this chain and we will not be back.

It is conveniently located in a little business area of el Segundo. This, I really wanted to like the food because it is so close to where I work, but it was not good. My coworker had the same experience. We both ordered the tacos and it was bland and overcooked with a crunchy fried shell dripping in grease. The service was pretty nonexistent as it just has one of those order screens. Even the rice side that came with it was subpar. You get better tasting food at el pollo loco.

Unfortunately I don’t have a favorable review for this specific location. For weeks my co-workers have raved about the Wildbird location near the UCLA campus. I knew there was a location close to home and last night I decided to stop in for dinner.
I ordered the 1/2 chicken, sides were the street corn, brussels sprouts and rice. I’ll just cut to what really stood out to me and that was my chicken was cold, dry and almost like a jerky. I ask the cashier/waitress why it was room temp/cold. I was the only person in the entire restaurant besides the few workers that I noticed. She replied it was to keep people from burning themselves. Anyway, I ask if she could heat a couple of pieces for me which she did; and it didn’t make a significant difference.
The street corn and brussels were good; but over all I am highly disappointed as the chicken was and is dry. I’m trying to eat on it again this morning of course warmed up.
Oh, the hibiscus tea was absolutely delicious. Maybe the restaurants are individually run or the west LA location has a higher turnover. I don’t know, but I will not be returning to El Segundo should I ever give it another try.
Wish it had been a better outcome.

Love this place!! I literally eat here everyday for lunch, down the street from my work, food is healthy and consistently good. Service is awesome and their market place w/ sweet potatoes and brussell sprouts is my go to order
