Lunch 10/7/25: we thoroughly enjoyed our traditional Nepali lunch: pork mono, and the lentil soup. The pork mono sauce was a great addition to the meal. Service was very prompt. Definitely recommend this restaurant when you are visiting Mt. Rainier

“Wait.. you mean that guy has the Guiness World Record for fastest Mt. Everest climb?” Yep, your waiter is going to be fast, friendly and maybe even that guy. Food simple and delicious. Don’t miss it.

Perfect if you’re staying locally. The young gentleman who took our order was incredibly efficient and straight to the point. We sat outside which was nice going into the evening. Went for the summit burger which safe to say I undestimated! Thanks for the great evening.

Good food, fast service, and a convenient spot for a hungry post-park visit. Our party of four was seated right away with the option to sit indoors or outdoors. Orders were taken promptly, and hot food arrived within minutes.
A note for first-timers: some special items like the Thali come with rice only (-no bread or extras) so manage expectations if you’re used to buffets or free refills in the greater Seattle area. Still, the location, friendly service, and tasty dishes make it worth the visit.

Food was amazing! We got the Sherpa stew and the chicken thali. Portions were perfect and food was warm, comforting and delicious! The story of the owners time being a Sherpa on Everest was also very impressive. Highly recommend trying them out on your way to or from Paradise!

Came in after a long drive and day at Mt Rainier. Location is great, food comes out fast. My husband had the dumplings and I had the tenders. The couple next to us had burgers and they looked amazing. We were trying to take our time but they keep asking if we were done. Its a small place inside with plenty of seats outside. The menu is limited but sufficient to grab a good dinner after hiking all day. Drinks are limited and so is dessert. The pie was not great (maybe it was our piece) and that was disappointing

It’s an authentic Himalayan cuisine experience. The menu is very simple but done very well. There’s the typical American fare, but please go for the Himalayan specials. Seriously, don’t come all the way here for the burger. Go for the Thali, Stew, and momo. It’s more subtle than Indian cuisine but it’s delicious in its own way.
You can imagine if you were hiking a cold snowy mountain, these would definitely be the type of food you’d want to warm your body and soul. It’s not fancy, it’s just… Homely.
The staff are very nice and it’s a well oiled machinery. Food comes out fairly quickly. Ample parking available.
They also sell Nepal made hats and other souvenirs. Definitely a must visit if you’re in the area.

Visited Wildberry Restaurant and had a fantastic time! The samosas and onion rings were both really delicious, and our food arrived promptly. The real highlight of the visit—meeting Lhakpa Gelu Sherpa, a Guinness World Record holder! He holds the record for the fastest known ascent of Mount Everest, reaching the summit from base camp in just 10 hours, 56 minutes, and 46 seconds back in May 2003. To add to that, he’s summited Everest many times—reports suggest as many as fifteen times—and has climbed other major peaks like Denali and Aconcagua. Having such a legendary mountaineer right there made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend stopping by—not just for great food, but also for a unique, inspiring experience.
