This was my first visit and also my first time having sushi since relocating to Naperville from Oregon, so I was honestly a bit unsure about the freshness. Those concerns disappeared quickly once the food arrived. The sushi tasted fresh and well prepared, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and overall experience made it feel worth it. The restaurant itself is cozy and inviting, with a great bar selection. I truly enjoyed my visit and would happily return.

Best sushi in the area hands down! Everything is excellent from the hostess, to the server and the food to the atmosphere and cleanliness . Top quality fish. You can’t go wrong. The lychee martini is amazing !! Peter is the best bartender around.
Love this family owned business.
I will always support local. Thankful for this gem.

First time here, plus first time eating sushi since moving to Naperville from Oregon. I was a little worried that fish wouldn’t taste as fresh as living near the ocean. But it was good and service was excellent. Prices are higher here, maybe because fish has to come from farther away? It’s a very nice little restaurant with a well stocked bar.

From the outside, it doesn’t look like anything special, but this sushi was incredible. Our waiter, Tyson, was very knowledgeable and friendly. I had the bourbon old fashioned with angel envy, and my hubby had a spicy margarita. We ate a tuna appetizer, Christine roll, and Godzilla roll. All were insane good.

My waitress was amazing. Super friendly and attentive. Made excellent recommendations. The owner was also very friendly and nice. I had the gyoza appetizer (ask for pan seared!) and the thin sliced beef wrapped in green onion on top of a delicious ginger salad. The sauce is very authentic. After I ate the beef and salad, I poured the sauce over the rice. It was perfect. I also got the sukiyaki sliced beef noodle soup. It was filled with tofu and veggies and shitake mushroom. The broth is excellent. For Japanese entrees like noodle/soup this place is the absolute best and most authentic in Naperville. The noodles/soup only served during dinner. I would return to try the nabeyaki udon next for dinner. And during lunch I will probably get the NY Strip entree or one of the katsu rice. If you are looking for quality authentic entrees, this is the spot in Naperville.

A nice casual, but with beautiful ambiance, restaurant. The patio seating is a great option.
We had chicken katsu and beef nagima for appetizers.
Beef was very flavorful and tender.
The same cannot be said about the chicken which was chewy and a bit stiff.
The appetizers were pretty filling so keep that in mind as you’re ordering entrees.
For the main entree, we had Godzilla Maki shrimp tempura roll and ‘route 66’ roll (comes with salmon).
The route 66 was creamy and decent tasting.
The Godzilla shrimp tempura roll was Excellent. I would definitely recommend trying this!
All of the dishes were presented very beautifully. Kudos to the chef for paying extra attention to the presentation of the dishes.
They have other dishes there as well besides sushi but obviously as the name of the place suggests, sushi is their main expertise. I would stick with what they do best.

Lots of rolls to choose from but a lot were spicy. No kids menu. The glazed sweet miso salmon was very salty. But the cook on the fish was perfect temperature. Wait staff was very nice and attentive. There is covered outdoor seating. Also lots of options for sushi/sashimi. Restroom was clean. I recommend this place. Read the rolls before you go
