I had to fast for 3 days, doctors orders. I promised I’d take myself for a wonderful breakfast as a treat when it was all over. So I picked this place. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. I ordered the French toast and I liked that it was made with texas toast. But it was on the soggy side. And the bacon was too greasy. My server was very sweet but she took a long time coming back when I requested a napkin, and then later a to go bag for my box. She was young though. Plenty of time to learn more about good service. But a great friendly personality! I might give it another try. The outside is a wonderful homey atmosphere.

This is an awesome spot for brunch with plenty of outdoor seating and great food! One of the best French dip sandwiches I’ve ever had, and this Bloody Mary was delicious. The coffee is also amazing. I would definitely come back and I totally recommend you check out The Wild Iris Café.

Cute breakfast/lunch spot with great food, reasonably priced. Big mugs of coffee, inventive quiche, delicious bacon. Everything cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, service was a bit frantic and scattered. They missed a side order, the waitress was nowhere to be found and once I let her know, it took another 10 minutes to arrive, after I had finished my breakfast. That said, everyone here is super friendly.

The Wild Iris Cafe is a must. The menu has so many great options with a daily muffin! I got the quiche that came with a peanut butter muffin- highly recommend. There is a great tea menu with both caffeinated and decaf options (you can get iced too). The outdoor space is great and you can eat with games and area for dogs.

Top notch breakfast and lunch spot. Beautiful outdoor seating area under the oak trees. Delicious fresh food. Very pleasant staff. We have been here at least 5 times in the last few weeks and have had a wonderful experience each time. The staff is super friendly and offers amazing service. Our favorite breakfast and brunch spot in Dunedin!!!

They missed the mark today. It took about an hour and a half from the time we were seated to when the food finally arrived. Quiche of the day was, flavorless and supposedly had chicken, bacon, and cheddar, but there wasn’t a trace of meat. My friend’s egg sandwich came with a side of eggshells. Also the default tip is set to 22% and up. We were not impressed.

Although I am reviewing this restaurant later than intended, I wanted to express my appreciation for the outstanding meal I had. The restaurant provides patrons with a choice of seating arrangements, including indoor and outdoor tables. One of the highlights of my visit a few months ago was the stuffed chicken salad served in cantaloupe, which exceeded my expectations. The unusual flavor combination was a refreshing change, and I enjoyed the skillful balance of sweet and savory flavors in this innovative dish.

Excellent location in downton Dunedin. The service was outstanding, the food was excellent, the portions are massive, and the courtyard dining setting is very nice (when not raining of course). They do have inside seating, too. They serve a wide range of breakfast and lunch items. Their selection of teas is fantastic for us tea lovers. This is an excellent choice for early and mid-day eating! Like I said, the portions are huge. We could only get halfway through, before giving up! Pet friendly and they bring fresh water bowls for them.

My husband Mike and I had such a great lunch with friends at Wild Iris Café this Saturday! It’s such a charming Dunedin spot with a relaxed atmosphere and great outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home.
I ordered the beet salad with chicken, and it was absolutely delicious ,so fresh, colorful, and full of flavor, especially with the goat cheese and crispy fritter. Mike had one of the breakfast dishes, and he loved it. Everything tasted homemade and thoughtfully prepared.
We also enjoyed seeing how Wild Iris has been featured in Hallmark and Amazon Prime films ,such a fun local touch that makes the café feel even more special.
If you’re looking for great food and a true Dunedin vibe, this is definitely a place to visit. We’ll be back!
