The staff was incredibly cold and rude. We were there for dinner service and; the meatloaf was served completely burnt, the waitress brought out a grilled cheese sandwich which was very burnt and proceeded to ask my son if there was something wrong with the sandwich as if she was quizzing him then when he said well it’s burnt she said yup thought so and went back to argue with the cook saying “you know kids, they’re picky” excuse me? Burnt is not something almost adults would eat. The tomato soup was wrong. They brought the party melt out on the wrong bread and we could hear the staff loudly arguing about it then brought a new one and it had so many onions it was hard to eat. And of course after taking a few spoonfuls of the soup which was def a ministrone instead of tomato, my son left nauseated. I expressed the concerns politely to the waitress and she was combative. I’d tell you her name but she never introduced herself nor did she wear a name tag and each time we tried to order she acted like she had more important things to do. The restraint was pretty empty when we arrived and she still barely gave us time of day. Never go here. Also couldn’t get pictures of the burnt grilled cheese because she snatched that one fast. Worst customer service ever, even worse food.

I’ve drive past this little gem a lot when in Ashland. My neighbor and I decided to go check it out on 8/28/25. First off, the atmosphere is completely relaxed and very casual and definitely was a good fit for both of us. The woman running the place is very friendly and an awesome conversationalist! We ordered Moscow Mules and they did not disappoint (love them better than the ones at Louie’s). I ordered the Ruben Supreme,(no kraut ), and it brought back memories of the Onion Roll deli back in Michigan. My neighbor got the Fish and chips plate and absolutely enjoyed every bite!
They treated his service dog with so much love and attention too! Definitely a hidden gem in the bougie world of Ashland.
Plenty of parking for both able and disabled people with easy one level entrance and exit.
My next trip to Ashland might just be so I can treat myself to yet another awesome, comfortable, relaxing, and delicious cafe and bar lunch.
Can’t wait to find out how good their patty melts are!
Thanks so much to all the wonderful people that work at The Wild Goose!

Sure the sky looks like Los Angeles smog, and global warming has turned up the heat, but we still have simple pleasures like the wonderful food here. I had the coho Salmon, my wife had the chicken piccata. They were cooked to perfection, served with delicious sides. This place is wonderful! The coolest ex-Coffee shop type place ever! And there is art for sake!

Food is awesome, this is my 2nd visit. It’s a little pricey for what I’m used to but out here it is what it is. You get what you pay for. It’s always expensive out here compared to you back in Georgia.

This place offers up a very Oregon experience. Friendly staff and an interesting menu with fresh local ingredients elevates the experience. It’s right off of I-5, so if you’re traveling, it’s a good option. Classic diner feel with some great updates bringing the business forward into the modern age..

Was not impressed first time there looked at the menu and it was a little pricey saw that they had a oyster poor boy sandwich over $11.00 I thought well for that price it must be pretty good so I decided on that and this is what I got the picture is deceiving the oysters were really small and there was only four of them as you can see only one side of the bread had what look like thousand island but was supposed to be tartar sauce other than that it was mostly bread lettuce tomato and onion and I had to pay $0. 99 for fries at that price you think I would got the fries with the sandwich don’t recommend it I’ll put one star only cuz I have to for this to post
